  1. I rate your remix the best there dude when does it get released?
  2. The last facebook update, especially mobile was probably the first decent one. wasnt the most recent one the timeline thing? i dunno about mobiles.. im still using an oldschool nokia
  3. still.. nothing beats a house party with your mates on new years
  4. if im not overseas.. i shall be there
  5. i recon itd be cool if myspace made a comeback.. especially as DJS their music player function this was good also.. facebook just keeps getting shitter and shitter
  6. fuck yea street!!! these tracks just keep getting better and better garts on having far too loud play it!
  7. i got my next fixed up so i can stream non stop finish uni in 4 weeks i plan on mixing for atleast 12 hours
  8. 2011 LMFAO tickets = $60 2017 LMFAO reunion tickets = $120
  9. such a sick setup now i realise why my productions seem so boring.. i have like 1/10 the tracks than what you have
  10. Maybe you need a change of scenery dude, i can only imagine how playing the same songs at the same venue at the same time could get me down after a while. Try breaking the pattern, even pull a sickie and take the night off to just stay at home and mix the tunes u wanna mix
  11. good read and completely agree apparently the SHM lads dont think so, i remeber there being a fallout between them and Hardwell, cause hardwell used one of their tracks in a mashup for a free download
  12. I think he deserves more.. his arrogance shits me To blatantly label all DJs as 'tallentless'. He has says that all he does is push space bar and then groups all other Djs as the same as him.. I have seen DJs do much more than him. I dunno if he's trying to be funny, or is jsut that ignorant.. either way, he's wrong. There was also the incident a few years ago about putting down a local DJ at the afterparty of one of the festivals.. like what a WHALE to do that. He's a professional, he's made it to the bigtime, do you also need to be that much of a tool to put down some kid whose trying to do the same thing? My opinion is that Deamau5 is an absolute whale, and i have completely boycotted his productions. I wouldnt lose any sleep if he was to quit the EDM scene. There are far more appreciative and talented artists who could fill his spot
  13. You make it sound like its a bad thing STROBE ALL THE THINGS!!! but as the others said, its all part of the learning curve. and if that was the worst part of your gig, sounds like it went pretty well
  14. so entering this!
  15. It is for moments like this that we need a rep system epic effort for thinking on your feet like that and having the confidence to pull it off
  16. the guy on soundcloud only has 15 followers and 1 mix.. he is also on the other side of the world, so i recon your sweet there the guy on facebook isnt a DJ, he/she just posts random shit of snakes with braces. infact im pretty sure its a dental brand LOL i recon ur sweet with that name
  17. You would think if he was bigger, u wouldve heard of him by now Everyone is saying to make defkon keep his name and tell the other guy to change, but i suppose if he is well connected in the scene he could make it a shit fight for defkon to get gigs and that? As for names, do you have any nicknames from back in Phili (from memory thats where your from?) or maybe play on the fact you are from there.. 'cream cheese'
  18. This is an odl thread but since its been revived ill chuck in my 2 cents personally.. i would go with the 1000s mainly because of the hot cues the USB compadibilty of hte 900s makes things more convinient, but if you dont mind burning the CDs (which i dont) then i gotta give my vote to the 1000s (pretty much purely because of the hot cues)
  19. OOOOHHHHHH YEAAAHHH!!!!!!! big up to anditz for providing the coupon code for this one aswell
  20. hey dudes very simple question here, can i plug the DJM850 into a laptop and use it and my 1000s as a controller? allowing me to mix without having to use CDs? the paragraph from http://www.pioneer.com.au/au/newsroom/n ... index.html makes me think i can 'Connection to PCs or laptops requires just one USB cable, so DJs can start mixing their stored music immediately. And software devotees can make the most of scratch control thanks to the mixer's compatibility with the timecode feature on Digital Vinyl Systems, such as Traktor.' just thought i better double check
  21. yea definetly stream over the radio im keen to give this a go....gonna be hard when i need to shit
  22. BOOM!!!! thats sick dude
  23. what about when u make up CDs for clubs johnny or are your cds just randomly put together?
  24. I have my music sorted genre > Key i find there isnt much point in organising music by BPM as most genres have fairly similar BPMs (well electro does, and thats what i mostly mix) but yea organsing by genre is definitely the place to start, the sub organization method is completely up to you. When i first started i organised it by artists or songs, just play around with different ways and you will work out what suits you best
