Nah not using a dongle. My laptop has a switch on the front for wireless internet, either on or off so im guessing that will work to. Thanks again

Now you mention it, since I updated my Audio 8 my circles have gone from well circles, to eggs. Using a Toshiba laptop with windows 7. What do you mean by wireless(the wieless switch for internet on the lptop)?

Yup, I had to ask for it and they got it in for me from another JB store that had it in stock. Got scratch pro and X1 from there for $600 which I thought was pretty good. Especially when the original price tag on the scratch pro box was $822 without including the X1

I'll go first. Traktor Scratch Pro- Version 1.2.6 Audio 8 driver- Version 2.9.4 Originally installed it all and seen there was updates and updated to 1.2.7, noticed it had quiet a few bugs and audio drop outs every few minutes. So I rolled it back to 1.2.4(needed 1.2.4 to be able to install Kontrol X1 drivers). 1. Still have the ocassional audio drop outs, sometimes I get a popping/clipping sound through speakers(doesnt happen if Im just using my decks normal with cd's and no Traktor). 2. If I have a track loaded in on of the decks and say halfway through the song I want to return to the start of the track, its not there. The way form is blank but all track details are there. I need to select the sond and reload it back into the deck. I will post more of my issues as I think of them, any help with my current problems would be great. I got Traktor and an X1 there that I dont like using because of the shit that goes with it.

So it seems that there is always new users of Traktor experiencing issues with their software. Post away and hopefully Traktor users who have managed to iron out their bugs with Traktor can help get your software up and working to its full potential. Discuss

Not too sure. What I do know is my tv etc in my room is connected to a $5 power board. My plasma and ps3, and all my Dj stuff are running off $50 Belkin powerboard which is surge protected. Thats all my electrical knowledge My mate has a Monster brand surge protecter, cost him like $500 staff price. Its the size of an amplfier and has LED displays and shit. His 3D TV still blew up in an electrical storm. Unlucky much

If you get a decent power surge you could fry your mixer. To be safe I would grab a surge protecter power board from somewhere. Better to be safe than sorry,

What are you using to mix with? I have only been mixing for about 6 months but will give you my feedback, Im sure other guys here will help you more than me. 1. Some of the beat matching was a little off, but in other places you corrected it. 2. In a few spots you had some vocals clashing 3. Transition from BEP to J-Lo was pretty good 4. Transition from Dr-Dre to Eve was good too Overall not too bad for your first mix, its all about practicing and practicing
