Yeah thats what I was thinking. I use timecode's at the moment but was just interested about HID mode as I thought Jaz could use it to connect his decks without buying the sound card etc. But now it seems we are all confused. Time to shut up

I was just after info on how HID worked apposed to using Timecodes. Now I'm confused. But too start off with I was wondering if Jaz could used Traktor Pro in HID mode to connect his decks via USB to save him buying TSP.

Yeah ok. So how does HID vary from using timecodes? Obviously all you music is still in your Traktor Library? Does your CDJ's act as a midi controller or something?

Gandy can you use just the Traktor Pro software for HID rather than buying TSP if you have no intention on using the timecode cd's/vinyl or the sound card?

Think he has a Toshiba, so windows... I'll answer for him because I'm interested in HID mode just for future reference.

Haha, I dont understand it either. But I had seen that Gandy runs his 350's and Traktor in HID mode without the Audio 8 so was thinking it could be an option for Jaz. But yeah I honestly don't know how HID mode work's, so probably better if Jaz talks to someone who uses it and see if it will suit his needs.

Couldn't he get Traktor pro and run it in HID mode?

I wonder if he will look at this thread.
