got to say I avoid itunes as much as possible. really wish the iphone would jsut work as an external drive and let me copy/paste and sort my music. only for the convergance factor that it gets used, my 8 year old iriver is still a better player than the iphone, and sounds better too
I did years ago, got up early to get in when they opened but didn't buy anything. but that was years ago when cdj's were still new, might be better now with folks not holding onto their favourite records
the US version of wipeout fills that gap pretty well now. me and the kid love to watch the sweeper in action. UK version is pretty poorly hosted so nowhere near as good
waking up many hours after taking acid to cop shop and it's a knockout on at 4am is not good, left me entirely unsure if the trip was over. then again it's probably only old farts like me who even know what those shows are
does sound a bit too good to be true. the cdj's alone would be not much less than that price, and usually $1000+ for the mixer. but if you can check it out first, or take a mate who knows what to look for you might just get one of those bargains. Dj'ing is full of people who plan to be the next big thing and give it away soon after
got a mail from my bank loan guy recently who said that house actually does depreciate and you can claim a deduction for that on investments, it's only the land that is going up
damnit but I'm going to sound like my dad here. it's only worth what someones willing to pay for it. maybe you will get lucky anbd find someone too lazy to do the most basic price checking.
probably a quick fix but you'll never find out until it gets opened up. not sure about that one but I could take the face plate of my 3000 easily enough to look around. pull caps off faders, 4 screws and that was it
are you going to re-do things everytime you add cd's to get them in alpha order? might work ok now with a small number but later when you have 1000 you'll be searching lots of old stuff to find the few current tracks you are playing. I tend to add new stuff to the back of the folder, and when I play something it goes to the back (ie empty pages) as well. every now and them sort the gaps and pull pages from the front, so the stuff at the back is what I am currnetly playing
all the usual brands are ok, start with a budget, then get some tracks you know well, take the cd's to a store and listen to all of the speakers. not just the ones that sound best but most honest and detailed.
I have the older model and they sure are loud and deep enough when only 2 feet from your head for $100 for a lump of foam, I would be getting a refund if they're as badly put together as you say
