  18. $300 for a 2.5hr year 6 farewell.... winaaahh haha
  19. Also depends how many songs you are putting on a CD. If you are making an Mp3 CD with hundreds of songs, you might as well use a USB. If you are making an audio CD, or want to limit the amount of songs, it would probably be easier to have CDs with 10-20 songs on each and label them so you can quickly flick through them to find what song you want. Some people even go to having one song per CD to flick through them. One good thing for CD's is that all cd decks are able to play cds, where as not all cd decks will play USB, but you have to keep in mind that you'll need two coppies of each CD incase you want to mix two songs on the same disc together. Like everyone said, it's personal preference, but CDs would probably be the safer option if you are planning for different venues.
  20. Sweet, thanks boiz. I spoke to my mrs, and she said they'll have one of the teachers probably doing the mcing, so looks like i'll just have to take care of the music. I don't mind doing it since it's my mrs school, the money is just a bonus. But it got me thinking about maybe doing more if it goes alright.... the main reason i never got out into club djing is becuase i work all week and don't wanna work on a friday and saturday night as well lol.... but $300 for 2.5hrs work on a week night isn't bad
  21. So my Mrs is a primary school teacher, and they have asked me to do the djing for their year 6 farewell.... I don't mind to do it, but don't know if i need to do activies or anything considering it's primary school. Obviously i'll speak to the school to see what they want, but has anyone done anything like this before? i haven't done it before, but the pay isn't bad for 2.5hrs work lol and considering it's during the week could be a decent way to make some extra money. Anyone have suggestions? or had any experience with them? cheers
