i had this same issue with traktor a while ago (mainly when i had the S4). Either upgrade to the new version, or downgrade to a version you didn't have issues with. since i've had the mc6000, it happens every now and then if i'm doing a lot of other things in the back ground, but hardley ever, and never if i only have traktor running. Sometimes the updraged version has bugs in it though, so just revert back to an old version and see if that helps.

tbh, it's something you're going to have to deal with until you get a bit older. for example, when I was about 20 and just finished uni, I was in a more senior job than most people my age were for whatever reason. I had the same issue, in that I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously a lot of the time despite me knowing what I was doing. It used to shit me the same way it's shitting you. fast forward 4 years, and i'm in a different role with another company, and had someone in the same role I was in at the same age come and see me. Sub-conciously, I was thinking " what do you know.... you're a kid". Then I caught myself thinking it and remembered when it was me. point of the story is: people can't help it, and the only way to change it is to wait until you are a bit older. Use it as a chance to practice dealing with people and when you're older remember what it was like for you when you see someone up and coming.
