  8. ok i went to syd stereo my round up dj sneak- certainly one too see if u like old skool, but he did dropp some techy new stuff in, really good set i enjoyed it the most! carl cox solid as typical set but i did enjoy it seb ingrosso- solid typical set calvin harris- top set suprise packet tiesto- he aint gettin better, bit boring, not really inventive
  9. sneak!!! and congorock they are my picks i rekons sneaks style is gonna make a come bak, well i saw his style slowly comin bak wen i was in europe this yr
  10. got a pair from djwarehouse thrown in after buyin some shit, they are uncomfortable under headphones imo Its cause they stick out past ur ear canal but im might get custom ones made up. when i went for my hearing test for my job i was fukin shocked. The ear i have my headphone on constanly has worse hearing than my other one. the nurse told me my hearing is of an age of around a 35 to 40 yr old and im 25 lol!
  11. got a pair love em, also got a pair of audio technicas ATH700 the technicas are a bit more bassy and are a traditional dj headphone. I feel im more precise on the HD25s so wen i do dj out on a gig i use them, but at home i use the technicas cause i rekon the sound is better balance for listening to the music over the HD25's dont know if everyone actually will understand what i mean wierd i know!
  12. kaskade it's you its' me

    KEYS

Who here analyses the key of their track as in uses a program to do it like mixed in key? Who thinks its a good idea, and who here is that musically talented to skip the program and use your ears and a key board?? I know i just experiment with my tracks until i feel which two songs flow really well together and build from there
  14. thanks for the heads up ha ha fark the messy nights there golden yrs lol!!!
  15. oh jhonny i used to live in Wollongong went to uni there ha ha nice nice, pretty cool place, shitty nightlife, although PANG nights have started doing nights in wollongong and are starting to liven it up, lots of internationals are coming through and a few boys noise records nights....it shit though cause no one in wollongong knows these names(even boys noise) all they know is pot belleiz ba raiders and so forth....very anoying going to a wollongong night to see dj bam bam and the club is dead..... nothing much has changed then, meh i spent my uni days boozing it up and listening to really shit music while out in the gong but they did have a few good nights i remember seeing dirty laundry there bak in the day ha ha think it was at cooneys dont know wat its called these days. Still get down there to visit old mates
  16. oh jhonny i used to live in Wollongong went to uni there ha ha

  19. ha ha into a wide range of tunes anything from indie to comm house. But really take a liking to good progressive house. Sucker for oldskool chicago house, couldnt pitch an ideal genre, the times i have giged i play to the crowd, its about the experience rather than the exact genre ha ha well at least thats the way i think. been in tassie for a yr now but i usally get bak to syd once a month to catch up with family and friends.
  20. hey guys thought id intro myself. I'm living in tassie atm but still consider myself to be from syd (earn my cash here spend it goin out in syd). Found this site forum through google. Its a kool forum some handy stuff on here. Been a "bedroom DJ" for a few yrs now played out a few house parties 3 or 4 small gigs nothing major, just take this shit in my stride, like a wide range of music. cheers
