i do agree with sound quality, can people please download songs in atleast 320 or wav. Also stop ripping songs and actually buy them i always buy a track i really like and that i think is really good. I still belevie its ok to rip commercial cheeze cause it goes out of fashion so quick and the only reason half the pricks out there get into the commrcial world is to make money. reward good tunes and respect good producers for those who crank out tracks with pop stars abuse it becuase they are shitting on a part of music they should never belong to! Oh and i bet if you ask those pop singers if they knew the god fathers of house and techno they would not have a clue who they where money grabbing pricks its about the music not how u choose to play it out, i love old skool vinyl i love the sound but half the club systems out there dont do it justice anyway

mixed in key does it costs you to buy the program but

i read it somewhere on the net and some people went to the trouble of pulling them apart and checking and they were branded the same this was like ages ago plus the guys at dj warehouse told me a few yr back i dint beleive them lol

key mixing??? basically detecting the key of a song got this program called mixed in key its not super accurate but it analyses tracks based on the key. wat i do is split all my tracks in files based on genre then i analyse them and stick them in a folder labled with the key then it gives me a decent idea then i explore with in that and ventre into mixing up and down the keys and usally find some cool songs that go well together and sometimes mix across genres

ok guys i know im not experienced when it comes to TT's but i had a go on stantons with serato on the weekend and i found them to be pretty good, only used 1200's twice and i usally use cdj's but i rekon both are pretty solid units. As for wear or durability i cant comment .

Common misconception there. MP3 encoding doesn't actually decrease the dynamic range. When people hear compression they usually think in that way, but logically, decreasing dynamic will have absolutely no effect on the size of a file as it has nothing to do with with the 1's and 0's really. What it does is more or less reduce the sample rate. An MP3 encoder will go through your audio file and basically hack out bits that it doesn't think are necessary and replaces it with noise. Its quite easy to hear in a 128kpbs file, go to soundcloud and listen to a tune that normally has nice crisp hi hats and listen to what the shitty soundcloud encoder does to it, sounds fuckin bollocks. At the end of the day, the punters aren't gonna notice cause they're fucked up and the music is too loud to hear it properly, so really it comes down to you and if you can notice. I can notice and thats why I stopped sending my tunes around in 320, its a comfortability thing innit. thanks for the info dude

ok i got JBL eon G2's and wen i was overseas i did a party in a small town in croatia and they hired those mackies and they trump the G2's for sound i remember thinking fuk these speakers pump! The sound quality is better i feel the mid range and hi's have more detail and i had them cranked right up for 6 hours and they performed beyonf my expectations. even my bro comment on how good they are compared to my JBL's and he knows fuk all about sound hope that helps

i got audio technicas ATH700s which use the same components as the A&H but i believe the A&H's are more durable, I have HD25's as well I feel the HD 25's are more accurate but the ATH's have a better bassy sound to them both are great cans but i do like the ATH for really long sets over 3 or 4 hours cause after all i like listening to my mixing and they just sound a touch better for listening then the senheisers

first time i knew i wanted to dj was wen i just turned 18 and i went out with my cuzin and his mates all older than me, wen to all the clubs in kings cross as you do but then we kicked on to a club at 5 am in the morning Q bar but it has since been closed down First time i walked in i noticed all the people were only there for one thing the music (oh and the drugs ha ha) and the dj was playin tracks i have never heard before, so i went up to the booth and observed this guy doin his thing. I really liked a song so asked him wat the track was called and i remeber it was a bookashade track im even thinking it was in white rooms and went back to that club waaaaay too many times ha ha

ok something else to think about using serato sl4 with the bridge this is my next step I have a novation launchpad and i am thinking of getting the novation nocturn for the time being but the launchpad is good enuff for now, if you get all your levels right for all your samples you just trigger the samples in the launchpad with serato and the bridge ableton runs in serato and u get to use cdj's as well which i prefer getting serato sl4 this weekend putting it on layby atleast.

I can only tell on my monitors, and its very minimal, wav is good if you crave an uncompressed format, tend to find loops and samples recorded in wav format have a greater dynamic range and i suppose it all depends wat your after. only way you can tell truly between the two is having both identical tracks one in wav the other in 320 mp3 and there is a slight difference I honnestly think tracks these days are over compressed but thats another issue when you people produce tracks that have compression on every element of their track. Im a sucker for an anologue sound with heaps of dynamic range rather than over compressed songs and u fill hard drives really fukin quickly using wav files and sample.
