New MP3 Format There's a new compressed file format that looks set to change the way we listen to music. Basically there is a new compressed file format (MXP4) that might just take over mp3 all together in the "future" no I don’t mean that the file format has not been created yet (as it has) the only issue to prevent it for being freely available is that you require certain players to hear it :-( Features of MXP4: - This format uses software allowing producers to upload many different styles or versions of the same tune. -Much Much higher quality (not quite known the exact KBPS but estimated over 1500+ compressed) -setting different parameters, the producer (you) can have a different audio experience each time it is played. (this is where the "special player" comes in) :-( But not everything is quite coming to light as yet. WATCH THIS FORMAT! Peace

My little set up

I Live in Wahroonga, I began my obsession with turntables around 2 years ago. My first kit i bought was the Behringer BCD 3000 (The mp3 digital setup), not to long after (around 2 months) i got more and more fascinated in baselines and mixing so after making space in my wallet i purchased 2x Stanton STR8. 150's a Behringer VMX 200 (yes requires an update) and Serato Scratch Live. As a profession i work in Computer Support and Service (so if you have any technical difficulties don’t hesitate to PM me) Umm ya, that’s pretty much it.

But have you noticed that there is no dedicated mac repair centres, most of them are PC (Windows) repair shops. That says something about the mac's reliability. And with the use of laptops while Djing live or battling a laptop is becoming more accepted with the use of Traktor or Serato in place of mountains of records or CD’s. Peace Weddas
