oh sure why not let djs cheat and use auto sync, while were at it lets legalise steriods and let athletes cheat, because hey who cares, as long as there putting on a good show why the hell should they actually learn and perfect tehre sport when you can jsut take steriods and make everythign a lot easier djing is an art, a learned skilll that takes years and years of practise and performing to perfect, but hey who cares about that lets jsut buy someone a laptop load up there itunes playlist and hti auto sync so they dont have to do anything awesome88 i take it you have never played a musical instrument? how do you think a pianist, classical guitar player, brass player would take it if you went up to them and said oh hey i have this thing that lets me do exactly what you do with a push of a button isnt that neat yea im awesome im djfivedollaholla i get all the bitches software and autosync is the worst thing that could of happened to djing because its no longer the same as picking up a musical intrument and learning it and taking pride and performing, now its just a bunch of spoilt 16 yr olds who get there rich parents to buy them a laptop and download a bunch of music and all of a sudden parade around and call themselves djs

its always going to be around because people who use auto sync are always going to defend it and try and justify why they shouldnt be called a glorified itunes performer

umm no, its not lol, its just having those songs on a different media, exactly the same as if you had a usb key or hdd, its the software that manipulates the tracks (TSP showing wave form, bpm, AUTO SYNC) that is cheating. rekordbox simply provides an interface and search option for your media on your hdd

so then how do you say its cheating, its a barebones digital way to easily search for tracks, with no sync option... you still have to pitch match and beatmatch

fair enough. but there's other reasons why people use TSP. yeh i know, i just have no time for posers that use sync, TSP already makes it disgustingly easy with wave form (TSP2 takes it to even more retarded levels with colour coded waveforms ffs) and its super accurate bpm display, why the fuck would you even need to push sync with that program holding your hand like a big baby you spend like 2 minutes in your cans and thats it, no wonder so many ppl are focusing on what there doing/looking like in the booth what else is there to do with all that free time on your hands

ppl who think its ok to use sync are the ones that say "yea but i use traktor to sort my music and syncs just there" when rekordbox does all that for you with no cheats and its free

there is nothing worse at 4am when the ugly lights come on... so dont go overboard with lights ppl want it dark and as jaz said we have already covered this 534956475634 times in your other lighting threads

i use XLR to rca for the mixer you should be able to do rca to 3.5mm for the laptop

i hate faggots that use sync, if your going to use something to easily sort your music use rekordbox, else just use usb and plug it directly into the cdj and actually (gasp!) manually sort it yourself

Hey all, just thought id throw up a quick bit of info on how to resize images when you post them. Resizing using HTML if you copy and paste the generic code below and just replace the sections with the url of your image, plus the dimensions you desire, you will be able to change the size to anything you want. so replace http://www.url.com/picture.jpg with the url of the image you want to link then adjust the width and height as desired
