  1. when i listen to mix for the first time i im awlays occupied, so thast only the really baaaad ones grab my attention, then i listen to it a second time with my full attention and pick it to pieces. the avg punter is not going to pick up on it bud
  2. all good mate, stays in outbox till i read it then goes to sent box
  3. yea i use both, pc all day at work, and pc/mac at home. Have the best at both worlds, PC awesome for gaming/documents/coding etc, and my macbook soley for djing/producing/photoshop/video editing im not bashing pc by saying choosing mac, im just saying they way macs work because they are propietry and all made and manufactured by the same person/company, they have complete control over what goes on, so when the software is made for mac it only has to worry about one specific setup, where as pc's are totally customizable so you have to worry about diff video card manufactures/drivers, diff audio card man/drivers, diff motherboards man/drivers etc etc, theres just a lot more you have to worry about
  4. yeh i agree sol i would recommend a macbook pro, because you can get a mad school discount, and i have NEVER had mine even think about failing, i hate to sound like a apple faboi, but when it comes to creative wise (music, photo manpiulation, video editing) mac just wins out because tou never have to worry about driver or compatibility issues
  5. quoted for life
  6. i think controllers are a fair way away from replacing cdjs as the industry standard, but in 5-10 years time i think they might make a considerable push in the market club wise
  7. cupe, im giving my mate my june mix, as well as both your dubstep mixes on the weekend, he says hes fuckin pumped to hear your shit haha
  8. what are you wanting to do s4 (although id recommend a ddj) if you want to focus on mobile, which i think is a good idea given your age, you're at least 2 years off even thinking about club work, plus its dickloads cheaper than a cdj/mixer setup
  9. +rep johnny, i will be quoting that next time theres a debate!
  10. oh wow, remind me never to approach a melbourne club booth haha +rep for expo
  11. maybe include a write up for the hdj 2000's as well
  12. i would like an brief summary on why melbourne seems to be a world of its own when it comes to EDM, being a lowly northerner i have no idea
  13. 2 new 900's, last time my tax return was 4k, but half of that went to hecs fees, with them finally paid off im expecting around 2-3k this year
  14. cupe you're so ungrateful sometimes
  15. no, they're just not. 2000's and 900's are the club standards fackedd ill gladly take your 900's off your hands if you are unhappy with them
  16. good man
  17. If this point is a must then you dont really have a choice mate...knock out the 22, knock out the stanton, knock out pretty much everything else to my knowledge, because only the DJM350 can record straight from the mixer (to usb) and will work the recordbox... but its more your CDJ's working with record box you need to worry about this, there is no other rekordbox compatable mixer on the market that does recording straight to USB, and its a fucking brilliant feature why its not on the higher end models i have no idea
  18. i might have some work for you hoddi, nome sayin'
  19. hey stop hijacking my thread about my fanboyism for utah saints
