Dude you're a local, you have no excuse for being surprised at how shit our Harvey Norman is There are 3 different businesses in there (different franchisees). The furniture side is over priced. The computer section is pathetic and service is horrible. But the electronics area is one of the best businesses I've every been to. Awesome prices and service... I forget that are not all the same in there. Will have to take your word on the electronics side, only been there twice for computer stuff, first experience was horrible, gave them a second chance and it was horrible again I don't think I've actually physically been into a shop to buy stuff (apart from groceries and tailored suits) for nearly a year, but even buying stuff from the net you have to deal with shitty couriers or auspost, so, so shit living in a rural area sometimes

only thing to be careful of is knowing how much of the actual space is taken up by the OS, I cant remember off the top of my head but I know its a fair chunk but again, with an expansion micro SD its no issue and I think mitch has the 32gig one as well

What do you mean? The new Type Cover comes in 4 different colours, is there another one that I should be aware about? I've decided against the Touch Cover due to bad reviews, but 1000+ sensors compared to 80 from the original seems like it could change a few things. Though I'll stick to what I know as I want the keyboard for functionality. There's a cheaper one and a more expensive one, one looks plasticy and doesn't actually have keys where as the more expensive one is better, fuck knows why they called them such similar names You want the more expensive one Also I have the 32gb model and havnt even needed to buy an expansion microSD yet not even close to using up the space

Just make sure you get the good keyboard not the shitty colourful ones 32gb with microsd is more then enough, specially with skydive and I steam all my music anyway

Updated my metro layout to have everything I need on the front page (turned off live tiles for the screenshot)

first impressions of 8.1 and im very happy - improved mail - improved calendar - improved ie user experience (makes it a lot less awkward/cumbersome to access favourites) - swipe up for apps now is nice - improved metro tile organisation - feels a hell of a lot more responsive now - official facebook app is very nice - new store layout makes a lot more sense still would be nice to have a stable forum app to browse forums, hopefully someone will release one soon or tapatalk will make a windows app these are just a few things I have noticed on my limited use so far, downloaded it at the start of the day then work got bullshit busy and didn't touch it

to be honest I havnt tuned in for a very long time and I miss most FNCP due to work. Its shame there was such a big push for this with people uploading mixes, live streaming, weekly spots, interviews etc but its kind of going by the wayside. I was one of the original staff to help get this up and running with funding, just don't see it getting used much anymore, seems like no matter how much we try to promote, as with our normal competitions it just dies off

just got 8tracks, a music/radio station that's like a hybrid of spotify and Pandora, really digging it as all the playlists are made by people/humans, and you can search by nearly any tag you want eg. feel good, workout, road trip etc etc. gonna update my first post today to include all my apps for easier reading
