im confused with shit as well lol Jaz, the boards aren't actually that much different from the old ones, its just an upgrade, sure there are some minor differences but there is a lot more potential with the upgrade. You're always going to have to take a little time to adjust with anything new, give it a couple of days to get used to the *slightly* differernt navigation of how you get around, and after awhile it will grow on you. In my opinion this looks a lot more professional, clean, neat and tidy this board isnt even 48 hrs old and cupe and crew have been putting in some serious man power, all off his own back dont forget

no no, just buy a mac and use it as a mac i was just explaining why mac is more suited for djing/music/prodtucion etc becasue its easy and no fuss just to reiterate, buy a mac and use it normallyl ike a mac

i'd recommend mac, you can get msoffice for mac now so that covers you for school, and then have a carefree life with music not having to worry about driver issues, compatablity issues, 10 million other issues you get with the freedom of windows etc etc. they beauty about windows is that it accomodates for us tech heads, and you can build one from scratch. This however means that there will be multiple motherboards a computer can use to be made, multiple sound cards, multiple video cards, etc etc, the more choice you have, the more you have to worry about your particualr make and model of your particaluar hardware being compatable with your controller/software mac on the other hand are built from the same parts/models/drivers that all come from the same place/model/brand for each unit. That means, the controller/dj software/drivers the companies only have to worry about 1 set of configuration compared to the almost limitless windows configs. so for no fuss no worry simple to use "just works" mac all the way, plus everyone in the industry uses a mac in their setup for that reason. I use a macbook pro for all my music/creative/production work and my desktop is windows

thanks again foolish, love hearing youre feedback since you been in the game for so long. no efx going on or samples, might have been the stereo although spitfire mentioned something about the levels "seeming off" in one of the sections, maybe i just didnt mix it good enough. umm nah never even dreamed about submitting it to a pop radio station, all my mixes (so far) are live, so they sound live and not mastered/smooth/crisp etc. I will be getting logic pro very very soon (just waiting for tax money to clear) and the next one i do i will give it a thought depending on feedback. a good friend of mine does mixes club rev on sat nites, so after i get my head around logic i might see what happens. next month marks 12 months of me djing, man its gone quick and ive loved every second of it, i would of never of thought i would have got this far when i was sitting down pondering whether i should go to the bank and get a loan for my initial setup lol
