id go the full size platter if you can afford it, like you said youve done your time on midi's, i think you would enjoy the bigger platters a lot more. 850s are a nice entry lvl deck with the full size platter them being quite new not sure how the second hand stock would be though. 3 or more channel mixer would be nice but dont stress too much if you only get a 2 channel because of budget you can always pick one up later down the track

is the roadcase suitable for 350s? been meaning to get one but bit pricey brand new if there too big (assuming the raodcase was for your 900s) i could just get some foam cutouts made up to fill the gap to stop them sliding round yea? would be win win for me if i decide to upgrade to 900s later on anways

Whatever works for you is ultimately the best solution. It comes down to personal preference Me, I prefer my Mac because it's never failed me and in past experiences have found that its a lot less hassle with plug and play equipment. I've also found (for whatever reason) my Mac is very robust and stable, pretty much running at the same speed/capacity over a good 8hr session of performing with multiple things running at once I know ppl who use windows laptops and have no dramas either, it's whatever you are comfortable with and whatever works best for YOU

not sure if that was directed at me eggs, but when i first got into it my goal was to play at venue;s, now that i have reached that goal im setting a new one of learning how to produce my own original tracks, not in it for the fame couldnt give a fuck about being famous, as long as my music makes ppl happy (as i previously said) then that to me is my ultimate goal, venues, producing etc are just things inbetween. Id like also like to be able to make enough to live from my work, so i dont have to go to my bitter ass 9-5 job to pay the bills

hijack seems like a bit of a legend haha as for your question sol, after me having doing club scene now, im moving into production and making my monthly mix cds and working on doing some of my own promoting. My mix cds are getting quite popular now which is a pretty nice feeling when i get msgs from random ppl telling me how it makes their day listening to my stuff, which is the reason i got into djing in the first place, being able to turn someones day from a shit day to a happy day. i can see me spending quite a few years on production and once i start to get good at it i might shoot for a weekend radio slot somewhere, my goal would obviously be BBC Radio1 but any local/national spot would be nice
