ah thank you for the clarification, i was hopeing to edit the bass and a couple of other things through massive to make a wicked ass dubstep drop, but im guessing i have to make my own beats for that and run it through massive, then just chuck on the other stems to make the rest of the song up wub wub wubw uwbwubwubwubw

I have downloaded a stem pack for a remix competition. All the stems are in .mp3. I want to run a couple of bass stems through massive and vox/fx etc through a couple of different synths. I have loaded all the differnt stems into my playlist view and they are coming up as audio clips. which leads me too... i cant seem to figure out how to run the stems i want through the synths i want. everytime i try and load a stem into my massive synth it deletes it from the playlist, so i re paint it in but its not making the changes i want... very frustrating, any help? here is how its looking so far
