  1. so what do you recommend over rokits grem?
  2. such a cool setup
  3. Gandy

    TOTD?

  4. do they? this Why is it surprising? Entry level gear would be expected to review poorl against high end stuff, i'm not bagging them they are a great option if you don't want to spend a heap of money. i was under the impression Behringer was entry level gear and Rokits were high end?
  5. i read that as saying rokits get poor reviews lel
  6. followed, i may start to use twatter
  7. i personally prefer serato, ive used both traktor and serato and personally prefer serato. The main difference is with the ddj-t1 you get 4 channles and use traktor software, and with the ddj-s1 you get 2 channles and use serato i would suggest going down to your local storedj or djwarehouse (if you are metro) and trying out the controller and software, to see which you prefer. there is no best traktor v serato, it just comes down to what you personally like
  8. Fuckin tapatalk quoted it instead edit hnng
  9. You dont find the headphones push them in too much? What headphones do you have? They sit really deep in your ear so they don't push against your cans
  10. You dont find the headphones push them in too much? What headphones do you have? They sit really deep so they don't push against your cans
  11. I'm more into writing my own that way I can do what I want creativeness wise, also more flexibility
  12. I use it to organise play lists, one good thing about it is plugs into nearly every software, whether it be traktor/serato etc, so sort it once and it's done, even with rekordbox it's just a simple task of drag and drop
  13. Cheers mate will check out tonight
  14. I few of my mates from g-town started using earplugs full time, they said it probably takes a couple of sets to get used to but once you it's sweet, not sure of brand but these ones were quite small and sat a good way into ear
  15. i dont need it to be anything over the top at the moment, i dont have any percussion experience, just the ones that come with FL studio are pretty basic. probably just after a kit that has all the drum set would have in real life, maybe bundled with some samples/loops etc for idea's
  16. alrighty cheers lads, swung you a pm wrcfiend
  17. any of the pros have a favourite? Im leaning toward NI's ABBEY ROAD | MODERN DRUMMER (http://www.native-instruments.com/en/pr ... n-drummer/), have been really happy with Massive so im thinking they are probably on point with their drum VST? as a follow on from my beginner post, the very basic/standard drum vst's i have been using are a little lacking, i dont mind saving up a bit of coin to drop some cash on a decent drum plugin that i wont need to replace once again, cheers! also hardware wise, should i be looking at adding a drum pad? i can fire up fl studio mobile as it has some basic drum pad functionality but its not very flexible, again, what do you pros use?
  18. was going to post this in the production section, but seeing as im really baffled by this at the moment and feel like a total beginner, thought id post it here (and maybe others who are new to producing are stuck at the same spot). im currently working on a new remix, its one of the beatport ones so thankfully the acapellas are actually the official studio quality. i am working on the first verse and have written a very nice progressive/melodic little number with the vocals, and now i need to write a solid drum pattern behind it, but the thing is all my experience music wise is with piano and piano theory, and when sitting my exams/doing my performances, i never had to worry about percussion/drums. i only have very basic/default drum kits for my DAW, but even with that the shit im coming up with is total garbage (kicks and snares). I always thought drummers were just the retards of the band (not really, but loldrummer) and its really starting to annoy me that i cant come up with a catchy drum pattern. any percussionists here that could point me in the right direction? im about to go on a massive spotify/youtube trawl of all my favourite artists to get some inspiration but in the meantime if anyone can lend there professional advice that would be great
  19. bout time kent

Great to hear you are enjoying it here Welcome!
  21. I don't listen to edm 24/7, After spending 4-6 hours a day making tunes it's good to listen to something else, it's like an internal reset button Just like when you go for a new cologne, after sampling a few you need to smell a bowl of coffee beans to "reset" your senses
  22. EDM only or any genre?
  23. as i said on your page, another banger, good shit
