Just bought a small welder from Aldi and I'm looken at building a all in one trolley desk drawer pc/mixer/ amp and a lead storage box on wheels like Sources that is 1 AC plug and play and small as a garbage bin. Huge wheels you could pull through sand dunes and maby a 12 volt battery and inverter,for playing anywhere.

Want to use the Pubs house speakers and their amp for background music streaming from my mixer monitor outputs and have my amp and speakers/sub on main output for dance time. Pubs speakers are about a dozen ceiling flush mounted 8" things that are used for ipod music. I thought of having the sub on low for a bit of meat also. Dance time perhaps the house sound will add a bit of detail to my mushy speakers sound. Can always balance the three, house mine and sub. Sound ok? .

Need wireless broadband for my 3 weeks up north this christmas. Cant get it from the resort cause I've sacked our manager so I may not get access/password. Thought of using the company phone and link to laptop but the connection costs 99.00 so no better off than using Telstra W.M.B. Only need it for 3 weeks so I dont want to buy a usb plug for 80.00 and pre pay only to throw the plug away after. Optus is not available in Broadbeach, so I'm told. Dont want to lurk around shopping centres either, using their wireless. Any suggestions?

Exposure does give the artists more fame than record sales. Have read this before, the only losers with pirating are the record companies that give struggling artists poor royalties anyway. Artists got less exposure when walkmans came about way back and replaced boom boxes as only one person hears an artists song on headphones. but a whole street could enjoy (and later buy) an artists song with a boom box blaring.

Read an article where if you sold 3000 CDs you would be the top selling CD of the week in Aus. Shows how much pirating goes on. I could make a shit cd and get a batch made and distributed and go to JB and buy 3000 and I would be the top selling CD Say Fab's greatest love songs played on a flute.

Have finally got my laser today, thank Christ. After playing with it in many locations I have put it on my light stand for safety's sake. Putting it up high reduces the risk of looking directly into it like what happened a hundred times today when it was on the floor or on a table. My eyes dont feel so good right now. Broke the pissy tripod when I stripped the silly plastic thread, wouldnt last 10 seconds in the field. Smoker set off the smoke alarm inside also. I might bundle my power cables for the three locations they go to with gaffer tape and mark them both ends as setting up took 1.5 hours today. Also super glued washers to bolts and wing nuts to save time also. Set up my main light stand and lights with the stand laying horizontally on the floor and I do major adjustments and tightening there. When I stand it up I can do minor alterations then. I find it easier to do it this way at the lights are heavy and awkward to balance while you are trying to thread nuts and bolts overhead.

Got two mikes for 16.00 from Strathfield radio with a shit dvd recorder package and they are great with XLR plugs to mike and quarter inch mike jack and 3m leads. Leads alone are worth that. Very loud output too never on more that 2 on mixer.
