Went and bought a toshiba satellite L7500/034 for a grand. Lucky for me the salesman at HN was into music and recommended an upgrade to this one. Gave it to me for 1000, price tag said 1400 so was happy with the deal. This is my third Toshiba so am comfortable with the brand.

My daughter got a mac bought a mac hdmi converter and it don't do sound. Have to run a spare 700watt amp from the mac headphone outputs to watch and hear a movie. If you buy mac you gotta get everything mac, got a be licenced to sell mac prooducts and no discounts allowed. Recommended (read mandated) retail price everywhere the same.

Embarassed to say my laptop Toshiba 100 is 9 years old and I have spent about 900 dollars getting it repaired over the years. It really is "Time toooo sayyy goodbye" I want to spend 400-600 for a new one, I was hoping the new one was a 15" screen and the same dimensions to fit into my pc slot on my mixer stand. If not, major open heart surgery on the stand which I'm hoping to avoid. Thanks for your advice.

Why are pc power plugs different even with the same brand PC Have to pull the office desk apart to use the plug and power supply in another room to watch a movie. Got two toshiba PCs 5 years apart and the plugs are not compatible. Need the new PC for tv cause it has a HDMI outlet. Both transformers are 13volt with different size plugs. Can I get adaptors with a female inlet?

Well I'm settling in to my new digs. Took exactly one month to unpack our household stuff and set up house. Have a 6m x 6m room for my Dj equipment which is twice the size of our old rumpus room I had to share with the kids and their friends,and have commenced practicing. Amazing how much you forget after 5 months away from your equipment. Will be up to speed soon and will have to network in this new town to get gigs. Should also say I pissed off the horizontl tube and made up a 50mm aluminium angle, much stronger and easy to drill out holes where you want them.

Looks like the one I bought on ebay. Horizotal arm bends with just 2 Par56 cans on the ends. Is shakey with a 20k Double Derby centre mounted at 2m high also. Had to do a bit of welding to stiffen up the derby mount and still nervous when I sit in front of it at gigs.

My laptop display has developed a white band on the left hand side. Was watching a movie and dozed off when I woke up a band of no pixels was there. Re started several times and the display wont pixellate in this spot. any advice? The laptop is 8 years old and I will be getting another one soon.
