Maby a stupid question but every time I open explorer I get a 3/4 screen I will use the icon to expand to full size but every new page I open is 3/4 size again. Happens at work and at home. Can use f11 for a full screen but want toolbars as well. Have windows 7 at work and XL at home. Thanks

My modem and wireless router has been on for about 3 years. Not game to touch the things. Some procedure is required, disconnect power supplies, wait five seconds. plug in wireless and then modem. Sometimes it wont work. Call Optus, get a lecture that they wont support wireless. If it works, dont fix it.

Thanks all, when I next pass a TV outside broadcast unitI will look in the truck and see how they roll their cables and lenght of cables. Always been taught to roll in 1m app lenghts and roll the ends on to a knot around the loops. Tighter rolls cause tangles.

With memory sticks the clips tend to break off the connections to your key ring. Drilled a hole in one and used it for ages with a key ring. Tried again last night and totally rooted another one. another 100 dollars down the drain.

Looking at that cooling fan intake I put wire flywire on mine as I read that a Dj found chopped up bugs in his amp from playing outside under lights. They put filters on the exhaust for some reason but not on the intake.

Already spent twenty minutes untangling the cables as I connected the Speakon plugs. Imagine when I'm pissed.

Thanks Andy Thinking 15m would have been the correct length. Hell of a lot of cable to roll up is 25m. I have joiners so I could run to 30m but 20 seems more appropiate. Usually keep the amp under the table and run the speakers as far away as possible.

Speakon are called safety plugs cause a metal jack has the terminals exposed and voltages for speakers can be up to 100 volts A nasty shock indeed

Hello everybody Just came back from a shopping centre carpark where I measured out 25m lengths of speaker cable and cut it off a 100m roll. I'm thinking that maby I've overdone the length. From your experience. what would be the optimum length of speaker cable that you would carry to use at gigs. I might be overreacting as I'm used to using 5m leads and they are never long enough.

Let me see what I have behind my speakers This one has binding posts, This banana plugs,this jacks,this Speakon, this XLR and this spring loaded binding posts for 7gauge wire only. Not having a go about anyone, just hard to compare amps with speakers when you have to bring out the tool kit everytime.

Looks like you have speakon socket and jacks Speakon plugs cost 8.50 and jacks about 5.00 from Tandy You can get them on ebay also. Pain in the arse these speaker connections, should be standardised for P.As

Mixer output to my amp has more output than the output to monitors so I use splitters all the time for my sub also a two to one splitter as sub is mono input. Looks messy but works. Can buy adaptors but puts a weight on the RCA output sockets on the mixer and they are getting loose.

Seem there is two levels of loud Dance loud that is tolerated by neighbours up to 3am in the morning, And loud loud that is the favourite with 16-18 year olds that gets closed down by the cops at about 11.30-12am. I'm sure some DJ's phone and complain about their own music so they can go home early if its a shit party.

Hi everybody I was wondering how much power you can drain from USB ports. I currently run a led light, N.I DJ2 external sound card, wireless mouse,usb memory stick and would like to use a cooling pad. No way of working out amperage used or amperage available. Thanks

Saw a busker at Circular Quay running an amp off a car battery with an inverter. He played all day and presumably recharged all niight. Should work the other way around. Man at JB Hi Fi told me that new digital amps use half the power of a non digital amps. Power supply plus amp is almost the same cost as an A.C Amp of similar power, so no great advantage. I was heading down the same path looking to save costs.
