just because you are running a sub doesnt mean you can't have tinny cabs. ive heard larger HK setups as well and I wasnt impressed at all. sure, if you wanna split some ears at a party this setup will suffice, but if you have the cash so you can also double up as monitors etc., i wouldnt go near HK. RCF and FBT deliver better bang for buck then HK, and they are similar priced/cheaper.

ive demoed them, the highs are really piercing, very tinny and no full midrange. not a good buy considering they are 2.5k

hey guiz i got hooked up with a supplier in HK that sells fake beats studios and pros. ive tested this shit, the sound quality of the studios is good and pros ok. you cant tell a difference from the box and the build quality of the headphones is excllent. if any of you guys are keen to get a pair of them for whatever reason (reselling them to ur friends who wanna look like top shit etc.) hit me up. they retail for 500 and 700 respectively.... ill do just about cost price for u guys. everyone in my college is now rocking a pair of beats haha. they all look like idiots but they are happy

there are about 10 better reasons to buy st150s, especially since you want better sound but are using serato?? haha control tone sounds pretty shit regardless of what TT u r using st 150s are better then technics because higher torque, more adjustable, larger pitch range, heavier.

for a dvs you need cdjs and a proper mixer (just add a laptop + soundcard)- but instead of running 900s/2000s you can use slightly older gear (e.g. 1000s) and still have all the functionality. ill explain later. yeah ok, next w/e should be good. im at the snow all week though so might be the sunday!

dvs is serato! software does not suck! haha music management is the shizzle with serato. i can mix in key so much more easily + quickly. plus i cbf to beatmatch with serato waveforms. I learnt how to do it when i was just on cdjs, now I can sit back and concentrate on other things jarrah come around to mine on sunday ill show u how good serato/traktor is.

why does everyone keep ignoring my suggestion of going the dvs route , which is clearly superior ? (not to mention cheaper..)
