So i bought a M Audio usb interface to connect my speakers and keyboard into. I set the M audio as my output audio in my system preferences on my mac... when i do this it says below the The Selected Device Has No Output Controls.... does this mean i need a little studio mixer? anyone with an m audiophile usb ? and a mac ? help ?

finally found the new software for on the net so downloaded that all good accept i have my rokit gen 5 speakers plugged into and the m audio set up with my laptop (mac) and set my audio output as the m audio but when i do this it says THIS DEVICE HAS NO OUTPUT CONTROLS so i get no sound ?

yea i bought it from ebay and it said os9 and osx in the manual is says mac aswell ?

where are my peeps with all the help ?

Right so i got my speakers and my keybaord i thought i should finally get a usb audio interface..... after posting a thread on which interface i should get i eventually decided to buy the audiophile usb by M- Audio and it doesnt work!!! i need help. I put the Cd in followed by installing and restarting as the manual says then go to my system preferences because im on a mac book pro i7 then i click on sound and the last objective is it select the m audio as the sound output.... when selecting the m audio for the sound output its not there ???? then i go back into system preferences and the m audio is down the bottom in OTHER i click on it and this message appears You can’t open M-Audio Audiophile USB preferences because it doesn’t work on an Intel-based Mac. WTF! PLEASE HELP

i have mpk 49 it is a new addition to my very expsenive waste in music production.... my question is when i trigger any of the keys on my keyboard depending on how hard or how soft i hit the keys determines the outcome of the volume of the notes... if i hit a note hard the volocity is higher and the same when i hit them soft i was wondering how do i change this ?

any hints on a good usb interface ?

why not wired the cable into my laptop? its just running into the headphone jack of the computer?

Just recieved my new krk gen 5 speakers and my god they sound f ing amazing.... was just wondering what would be the best way to set them up with my laptop.. At the moment i just have a aux to earphone jack from the speakers to my macbook. I was wondering how to best setup up for more balanced wiring with actually input jack to the macbook? how would i do this ? another quick question.... how long is too long to leave these speakers on for ? i mean its set up with my computer i a hate un plugging and re plugging them in not to mention turning them on and off ? can you just leave them on or will they burn out

What are some of the best vocal produce dj voices? where can i get them ? im talking the computer voices eg. something something in the mix or dj something ...

the scratching is just my way to drop a track bit dodge....notice from the 7.40 mark i did a weird thing where i just dropped that timewarp track in then loops it then brought back that other track restarted the timewarp one then they both fell together ... wish i could do that again ) and the tempo change was me there are a few dodgy mixes but was just a one time recording will work on a set playlist but not really my style thanks for the feedback!!!
