shit i thought alot more people would be using traktor.. all you blokes use serato ?

Would like to see what tricks and tips people have on traktor. I have come to realise that i really dont use traktor too its full potential and i want to learn what else the software can do. For example i would love to know how to have a 2 channel screen set up but only use a single deck. Also would like to know how to insert and play little audio clips with out dragging and dropping the file into a channel. I know with Serato there is a section below the deck screen and you can put in audio clips and just and they will play. There just short little thing mainly containing sound effects of vocals. Also if anyone has any short cut keys they would like to share or any quick methods etc that would be great.

no. once the deck as been copied to another track slot in the software it switches to internal mode and you can no longer use the cdj as a midi device hence moving the pitch control will only effect the track assigned to it. Ive seen my mate do it with serato. the simple use of a comand will simply copy the track to another channel

wow awesome information!. ill give it a go. Another question. How could i use this method with two decks but have a 3 or even 4 deck screen up in traktor ?

I have seen my friends use Serato with one deck. They simply have the two deck screen setup and while one track is play that use a control to pretty much copy and paste it to the other track in serato. Then they load up another song on the empty track. Can we do this with traktor does anyone know ?

So i purchased the NI Kontrol 1 interface and i run the installation disc on my macbook, computer restarts etc etc but when i go to my service centre for product activation there is nothing in my service centre for me to put the serial number ??? no listen at all it does not recognise that i have installed the krontrol 1 ....help needed please

So after buying a M-audio audiophile usb interface and realising the hardware is faulty when it comes to intel i3 i5 and i7 processors along with usb 1.0 ports im selling the interface and looking for an appropriate interface. Now keeping things easy would it be best to go with a Native intruments audio krontrol recording device as i already have an audio 8 dj soundcard for my traktor software ?

ok so i installed the old 126 traktor and the old audio 8 driver instead of getting scratch disabled on the latency circles i get Off and when i play something i jsut get this tiny little circle ???
