That's cool man. Yeah some DIY vocals are so bad. De-essing can really mud it up as you've experienced. Use the de-esser as if you're putting salt in your food. You only want just enough and then EQ (with a small Q) the frequency that's hissing. It helps me sometimes

Sounds good man. It's scary to see that you and my mate have such a similar style. Only thing I'd pick at it is the vocal stem. It's a bit mid heavy so maybe some more eqing could've been done. Nice job otherwise

The acapella started life pretty clean. Dunno what happened but figured I'd put it up anyway. It's probably more the fact I pitched the pella up to suit the track, rather then using a track that's in the same key. It still sounds good played out

I never had an issue with mixcloud. I haven't uploaded anything in a long time but my experiences were good there. It's just recently with soundcloud not uploading my Hardwell remix and taking down one of my remixes from 2 years ago…
