It's probably good to start with some drum samples / drum synth. The minimal basslines seem pretty easy to make in massive. Firstly, I'd lay out a drum pattern with the track you're remixing. If you're using the original song roll off the bottoms so the kick is pretty faint - you won't get rid of the music totally but once you start filling it up with your own channels it'll seem like it's gone. Reference a few minimal tracks and use it to help structure your own. Hit up YouTube for any sort of tutorials too, or you can shoot me a message and I can give you a hand. Play around with chopping sections and put in your bassline and percussion stuff. Once you start to hear something take shape you should be able to flow into it nicely

It's not so much her as a DJ (coz anyone can do what she does), it's the theme they've created around her. It's a big marketing thing which was very successful

I didn't renew my account. What's the point when they take your shit down

we all love a Paris Hilton DJ story, so here's another one WHAT PARIS HILTON'S £1.6 MILLION DJ FEE COULD'VE BOUGHT INSTEAD Recent reports suggest billionaire heiress Paris Hilton was paid £1.6 million to play four nights at Amnesia. Entry to Berghain every Saturday night for the next 391 years 4. 800,000 coats in the Corsica Studios cloakroom 5. 14,953 blasts of Amnesia's Megatron Ice Cannon 6. cheers matey. just create a new account, vote and then you can forget about that one too -
i thought it was pretty average to be honest (he's still better than me lol). it got good around the 2min mark and then lost it's way when the flux track came on, then it was only a few cool things he did. apart from Craze and Shiftee, i'm trying to find one guy who i thought was pretty good. when i find the video i'll share it

Hello fellow companions, Here's my remix of Arcadia for the Arcadia Remix Comp. If you like what you hear I'd appreciate a wee vote. I think voting starts on the 14th. I hope you like what I've got going on here and if so, please share it around with your buddies https://soundcloud.com/whoislabrat/arcadia-lab-rat-remix

If you got the stems then it's best to experiment. You can cut the audio files up and rearrange them or mangle them to sound different, the creativity is up to you. There's no rules and this is a great time to learn. You can shoot me a pm any time if you need anything
-
If I'm doing a bootleg, I'll usually keep the main build parts from the original and work on my own drop. If I'm remixing then I'm usually using stems from the original artist or building a completely new track around an acapella

Only concern I have when buying online is having a warranty. Have a good read or ask the question because some people won't offer it to you. Also make sure you get the appropriate plugs (240v plug/adapter). Other than that buying new online shouldn't be a problem. My personal opinion, If you can get it locally I'd suggest to do that. It just saves the headache of all the online joys and you get guarantees and warranties with it

But in 5 years time there will be very few, if any new cars these can go in. There aren't many now. Well I've never really been into car audio bit my mates are. I guess there's still a market for custom systems if they're gonna dedicate to it

I have a Pioneer head unit, i just bought dad a double din screen unit too. they're pretty good for the price. Apline are a bit rich with their products so i guess they're gonna try knock them off their perch

Let me know how loud they go? If they can pump a reasonable amount for me to use for listening/movies etc with the projector as well as production I might grab some. I found the rokit 8's to be pretty quiet is all These sound pretty good, but not as good as the 8's (for obvious reasons). One of the main reasons a speaker will sound like shit is in a room that's not suitable for it (not ideal in a home theatre room lol). I think for the reasons you want it for they'll do the job well, complimented with a small Sub to really give that bottom end some presence.
