  1. oh snap. i wonder how much that would be worth if it was still in the plastic...
  2. Lad. Will look when I'm at a computer
  3. I do but I don't. I'm just gonna investigate today and if I find something I'll grab it but I'll have a look online too
  4. I'll go the class 10 for faster awesomeness
  5. sup ladies, I'm gonna head out today and get new USB's but i'm toying with the idea of goig SD. SanDisk is the brand for me because i know it works so i'm just wondering whether a class 10 is the way to go or if i need something less intense
  6. Nah I have no idea how it works. I don't use windows
  7. Tracktion 4 is now free for everyone! The old version (last updated on December 9th, 2013) of the popular Tracktion digital audio workstation is now released as freeware for all interested users. Tracktion 4 was normally priced at $59.95, however in April 2013 it was offered as a free music making program for all Behringer customers. Now Tracktion 4 is being released as a free tool for anyone interested, potentially earning the title of the best free DAW at the moment. Granted, this is an older version of the software (the most current version is Tracktion 6) but it’s packed with features and incredibly powerful for a free music making application. This may be good for anyone looking to get into production on a budget. It seems like it's a full version unlike demos from other DAW's so it should be pretty good. http://www.tracktion.com/downloads/tracktion4 Alternative Download (link from another source) http://www33.zippyshare.com/v/9AJV7RdH/file.html
  8. i'm cleaning out my tunes and i've got some. not sure what they are though coz they're not numbered but i have dates. one is yours at the 11th of march 2011, i have ours from 05/03/2011 and another one that just says 2011 (its an electro one). that's all i got on my lappie so if they're useful to you let me know
  9. adding one to the mix here. i just made this one (a mere 10mins ago). it's stupidly simple with little to no effort but it should sound pretty good in your sets (coz bitches love to sing to something). it's private coz i don't feel like sharing it with the world lol i'm gonna play it tomorrow at some point but it should go ok RivieraSound vs Lady Gaga - Hot Applause https://soundcloud.com/whoislabrat/rivierasound-vs-lady-gaga-hot-applause-lab-rat-edit/s-kgjvT
  10. Anyone can play at Sterosonic, all you have to do is sell 100 tickets minimum for a 30 min slot. How else do you think Loud/Lucky get so many of their acts on the big stage? wot? all you have to do here is fill in an application form #noskill anyways, good luck matey. I hear there's a dude in Perth who's pretty good
  11. Thanks man will be doing more by request. It's the easiest way lol
  12. Cool I'll take that on board for next time!
  13. i don't have a full version of ableton with the full sampler in it so i can't show you how it's done
  14. Shouldn't matter too much tbh. I have ableton so I'll set it up and give it a go for ya.
  15. here's a video of how to sample vocals to play like an instrument. all done in logic but the process is pretty much the same in any sampler
  16. uploading video now. should be ready real soon! video can be found in this thread viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16725
  17. People set up cues at different points. I don't think there's any real reason for it
  18. Personal favourite
  19. I personally don't do a great deal. Once my second track is cued up I sometimes tinker with effects or the EQ. When I was playing in clubs id just dance around haha
  20. Sweet as. I'll get onto that as soon as I can!
  21. Not tricky at all mate. All he did was cut the vocals up in sections and throw it into a sampler. Each vocal sample is assigned to a separate key so you can play whatever sample you want. In four five seconds he put a sidechain on it too Edit: can put together a quick vid if you like
  22. alrighty, i like the drums in the beginning. they is very cool. i'm not sure if the kick is the right thing to have there though. there's a bit too much sub and not much kick. try layering a kick drum with the lows cut out over the top of the sub. is that kick in kickstart or something or is it a sample from somewhere?
  23. I'll give this one a listen ASAP and get back to ya!
  24. i notices a delay when it comes to video. i bought mum a wireless speaker for her ipad and when she watches her shows theres a very small delay in that. i wouldn't think audio would be too noticable
