bummer... nah don't have the box but my mate reckons he's still got his (same model). i've got all the foam from when dad got his 27" and my mate that works at the local music store had got box tonnes of bubble wrap so i'll probably seriously contemplate about putting it in a suitcase then. might even bubble wrap the shit out of the suitcase too lol

i've been a little stumped about how i'm gonna transport my iMac to Melbourne without it getting damages. taking it as carry on is the best option but it would be easier if i can remove the stand. does anyone know if it's possible to do so? i've hunted online and found videos for the newer ones (24's and 27's) but nothing really on the 21's. one article i found is from a dude that pretty much pulled everything apart to get it out and i don't really wanna spend hours doing that. anyone know of an easier way?

lol i need to fix it up again. every few months i find i have to add playlists and new files I download so much stuff I forget to do it right away and then every like 6 months there is music fucken everywhere! haha i do it straight away but there's just a lot of different sounding stuff and my main genre playlist just gets filled up with random shit

keen to see how the new cans are. the techs are still one of the best headphones i've used for djing

that's a perfect option on a budget. there's obviously cheaper controllers but those platters feel pretty good. if you like it and start chasing gigs you won't need to upgrade controllers from that one unless you're looking for more inputs / functionality. my suggestion would be to get that

Track and album tags are right* lol can't English yet

Unless they changed something very recently (like yesterday lol) it should work for all tracks. Just make sure the tire and album tags are in right and it will work. Keep in mind it doesn't work with wav or aif files. For some reason artwork doesn't always stick to either of those file types

Right click > get album artwork. Make sure the id3 tags are correct otherwise iTunes will have trouble finding the cover art

I use iTunes for this and bridge across to rekordbox and traktor. So I create playlist folders and they are by main genre, or how I feel I can find them easier. For example I'll create a folder called house. In that folder I'll have different playlists as the sub genre. So for example I'll open my House playlist folder and inside I'll have Funky House, Disco House, Deep House, Future House, so on and so fourth. I will keep creating folders until my music is sorted, so, I could have another folder called Bass Music and inside that there will be Trap, Twerk, Footwork, Dubstep and so on

mixing on cd's is pretty simple. there's a few habits as a vinyl dj that you don't need, such as cuing the track. you can just press play and the tune will start instantly. if you like that vinyl feel where you kinda "scratch" back an fourth before you let it go then you can do that with the cds as well, however it doesn't feel anywhere near the same lol if you asked to take in your own gear i'm sure they wouldn't mind
