Anyone wanna learn anything? I'm keen to do a few more videos

i mixed with in-ears a few times. found it very uncomfortable over a period of time. i don't had my headphones on my ears all the time so having these in my ears became irritating for me

I was given a plugin from a buddy to try out and it's cracked. It works ok until a particular point in the project until the whole thing shit's itself. I like the plugin a lot so i'm gonna go buy it today. This is a bit of a noob question (which i probably already know the answer to) but i just wanna make sure coz i don't wanna lose hours of work. If i remove the cracked version and replace it with the retail version would all my midi information / preset amendments remain the same, or should I bounce all the tracks using this plugin to audio?

I'd go a 2i2 as it'll be perfect for what you need

i also had shures and i liked them. the fact they give you a bunch of different types of ear bud things are pretty cool. makes them a bit more comfier

Yeah so this obviously isn't just for NI stuff then. I got swamped with a stack of emails today from other developers with the same issue so I guess it's just gonna be standard practise to wait until there's been a few updates now. A worthy note that was suggested to me if you're looking to buy a new mac; make sure you get the mac with the previous OS installed. I know they've obviously started shipping with the new OS installed so try found out which ones are which before you buy

I haven updated since 10.9. I'll have to at some point but when I do I'll just buy a new mac and hope that all the bugs have been fixed

Incase some of you didn't get this email, Native Instruments released a report illustrating compatibility issues when upgrading to OS X 10.11. Here is what's affected 1. NI plug-ins do not pass the AUDIO UNITS validation in Mac OS X 10.11 – Logic Pro affected In Mac OS X 10.11, Native Instruments AUDIO UNITS plug-ins will not pass the AU validation and will therefore not be available in Logic Pro. The root cause of this issue has been identified and a solution is currently being developed in close contact with Apple. 2. Incompatibility with some older NI hardware There are compatibility issues between some older NI devices and Apple’s upcoming operating system. This issue triggers a 'kernel panic' – this serious problem will crash the connected computer immediately, resulting in loss of any unsaved work, or serious disruption of a performance. The following hardware is affected: TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 (MK1) TRAKTOR KONTROL X1 (MK1) TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 (MK1) AUDIO 8 DJ AUDIO 4 DJ AUDIO 2 DJ MASCHINE (MK1) GUITAR RIG 3 (RIG KONTROL 3 hardware) There are beta drivers already available that fix this issue. Updated drivers will be released as soon as they have been fully tested on OS X 10.11 – shortly after Apple releases OS X 10.11 to the public. Selling my kaoss pad due to the extreme lack of use. This thing is pretty amazeballs but it's been in it's box for so long I figured if give it to someone who will get the best use out of it. It's had very minimal use and is in all it's original packaging. Cones with the power source, manual and cd with the editor installer on it. Chasing $250

The Adams are amazing! I'd love a pair. I'd steer clear of the presonus ones tbh. The berrys would go better. As far as budget goes the berrys can put out a good sound on the cheap. The krk's go ok but I haven't had enough experience with them so I'd take in what's already been said. If you wait out and save a bit more than the jbl's might be a good buy. Look in to Mackie. Their monitors are supposed to be pretty clean but haven't heard them personally

is this a 32/64 bit rewrite or is it just a 64bit version? i haven't had a chance to look yet

i paid over 200 when i bought it so it wasn't cheap. shit thing is i can't load every preset into it for some reason. some sound banks don't work and others do. it's a bit annoying when you pay so much money for something like that but hopefully they bring out an update with the 64bit version

the venue i play at has a massive perspex screen. we call it the aquarium and it seems to work quite well lol unfortunately it seemed like that cost a bit of money but unfortunately if you're not in a venue (djing a house party or private function) it's a bit harder. you'll just need to enforce boundaries
