there probably are dl classes around. if you've already googled dj classes and haven't found anything try going into store dj or any other music shop where there's dj gear and see if they can help you. there may be flyers around for these things

Go the a&h mixer and then hook yourself up with a good Rhodes mic

The sm58 is a pretty standard mic. I would've thought you'd want something more like condenser mic / studio mic for radio work. I'd also recommend a mixer like cee posted. If your in a budget, behringer do some pretty decent ones now that won't break budgets
