  1. pretty much what chev said. needs to be about how good the music is. but the music needs to come from an adjf representitive so to speak. not someone that just joins up and throws some tracks in then bails. maybe like a 50 post/1 or 2 month minimum? that sounds fair. i dont fall in the 1 month / 2 month category (i think) and i reckon thats fair. ive been on this other forum for about 3 years now and im sick of seeing people throwing up tracks and mixes only
  2. yeh i got denons and i got a few mp3 cds and although the songs are on there when i put it into the computer, it shows up on the cd players as some tracks missing so i just burn audio cd's straight from iTunes and it works with no dramas
  3. I think like skank said, some packages you make yourself work out a bit cheaper. As for cd players hit up the demons. They're very good! If u go pioneer because you're use to your mates then don't settle for less. Go straight for the 1000
  4. this sounds cool! im working on a jungle track at the moment so i hope to have that finished real soon! (got 5 stitches in my foot so cant really do anything else lol)
  5. ill have a browse
  6. i might have a hunt around for these. havnt seen many good production books around

hard house = paul maddox welcome!
  8. i use iTunes mainly because it keeps me inspired to buy vinyl
  9. im a hardware man and probably will always be - unless someone can come up with a convincing way to change me otherwise, but i think it will be a bit hard after this lol
  10. yeh i wanna grab one of these, along with a kp3 and link them together to make some trippy shit lol i'm looking into a kaossilator pro aswell so if it does what the kp3 does aswell as sequence then it might pay to get that instead... but yeh until then just wanna know a bit about these things. cant get on youtube at work to have a browse either
  11. i had a few name changes for the whole "that sounds childish" thing. i went on for a while without a name because i couldnt come up with anything lol
  12. just want to know if anyone owns one of these bad boys? im looking to grab one but not sure which one to go for. basically not 100% sure on the differences between the both. im kinda goin for this one at the moment but if anyone has any info they wanna share that would be good http://korg.com/product.aspx?&pd=159
  13. haha best way to start mate they got a lucky dip box with 10 vinyls per bag for $20 bucks (im pritty sure they do) so if you get your turnies, grab yourself one of those. best way to learn. even if its not the style you wanna play it gives you the understanding of beat matching and basic vinyl use. good luck with it mate
  14. hey how did this go?
  15. draw up a rough sketch of what you want and just ask local cabinet makers and see how much they'll do it for. custom is not always expensive
  16. which direction did he send you in? vinyl, cd's, virtual?
  17. welcome! followed some of your mixes throughout the years
  18. another perthy! next time you go to the dj factory, speak to matt (shortish guy, shaved head and has one of them hole things in his ear lol) he's a top bloke and noes basically everything! *you probably spoken to him anyways actually lol also, hit up youtube and search up dj tutor. good tutorials on the basics
  19. get your hands on poppy remixes. if you can get a hold of em (might be hard) grab Promo Only.
  20. didnt see this one. might give it a shot if i got time
  21. all the best man
  22. thats pritty rad lol i should've made mine a similar way to the decks how there extruded in the top. looks so much cleaner
  23. yeh as ive been hearing. at 3pm i switch over to a local community radio station and they play dubstep n drum n bass for 2 hours
  24. sorry for the late reply. just got to this one. its pritty good. some good tunes in there
