ive done a bit before. awesome fun! i can only say, use Resolume. its not exactly "user friendly" but its one of the best! Arkaos is good if you dont want to take it seriously. check out Arkaos and Resolume online. i think Numark may make a VJ controller for Arkaos

damn 2 pages already!! lol ill check those samples out in a sec. goin over a dubstep mix i just did. hopefully i can throw the sample under it if it sounds all good EDIT: just heard them. i like em! could maybe use both at random times even. i think the filters n stuff are pritty cool. a lil stereo widening would work. for words n stuff, we could have 3 samples? have like a beginning-of-the-mix sample which is something like, "you are listening to......" and either have "representing adjf (or whatever)" and then could throw in the ausdjforums dot com sample around the place...? i duno, anyone else got ideas?

ok so just had a thought.... we all pass our mixes around to people and post them on social networking blogs etc. what if we had a sample we could throw into our mixes to give ADJF a lil more exposure and rep? sooooooo for example, we can have a chick saying "aus dj forums (dot) com" or have an individual sample which is like "you are listening to Spitfire representing ausdjforums.com" with a lil echo, a few filters or whatever? was first thinking about using some female voice over that reads tx on your computer coz it would be fairly easy but thought it might sound a lil better with a real person. what do you guys reckon?

i bought it as an "external soundcard" for my Triton Extreme, so basically im just sampling the sounds from the Kaossilator. wont have the full parameter control of the x/y pad but can get it close on the Extreme anyway. im looking into grabbing myself the Kaossilator Pro now for the midi control

while we're on it, does anyone here scratch?

mickey slim has some good stuff. also far too loud. im focusing more on dubstep so my electro side of life aint so great atm lol if you're into breaks, Pyramid (i think thats how you spell it), the rouge element... umm, sadly thats all i can think of at the moment :S work has mushed my brain lol

this is crazy. go cdj800 or cdj1000. im starting to think all the rest of these cd players are all looks and no action. sure they got the "goods" but where has the "compact" disk player gone?

welcome man. like CBG said about the mixers, go for the A&H X-ONE 22. im personally a korg man but the mixer just doesnt really cut it. if you want effects then grab yourself a Kaoss Pad and you'll be set. im not a cd man so cant really comment but i need to update my cd players due to age and the cdj400's seem to be alright but id take a look at the denons. there a much better cd player and have had the technology that the pioneers have now for a while longer. dont just buy it for the name's sake. thats my advice

i listened to a lot of trance of all sorts back in the days and i gotta say i never heard anything like this before. i duno if its just the style but it seems like it doesnt really go anywhere? theres some cool sounds in there but yeh... whether its the particular style or an experiment then i cant really comment coz i dont know but yeh, just my opinion in the matter. ive listened to it a few times now just goin back n fourth. production wise there isnt anything wrong with it
