how are these different from using USB on cdj's? same same... actually, using USB on CDJ's is the stupidest idea in the first place. why spend all that money on buying (essentially) a CD PLAYER just to plug in a HD or USB?? isnt that what MIDI controllers where made for anyway?

everyone has a personal opinion about everything. i personally think the DJM's are nothing special when u compare them to A&H mixers but at the end of the day they're going to do the same thing so its what you wish to do

you want direct drive not belt driven tt's so whatever the budget just look out for that

defs a fan of the macs. use em all the time and the 250s are perfect for house gigs! Lux Entertainment helps me out with those

im sure this topic has come up before but as we have entered a new wave of digital blah blah, im curious to know if anyone plays vinyl... or even for that matter, CD's? timecoded vinyl / cd's dont count lol i for one play both cd and vinyl.

you'll start to see that alot now. Denon is the main brain behind most of these features if you look closely at there gear, but because its Pioneer, everyone thinks they're amazing and ground breaking!

yer id imagine u have a lot of cds ill have some cds that are remixes of the one track some of my CD's have 1 track on em. i only grab EP's so if its a 1 track EP it will go on a disk on its own

pioneer can shuv it up the bum bum. the cdj 800 and 1000 should've been it. everything they're doin now sucks

i use iTunes when listening to music. all my music is in albums. i HATE having individual tracks. pisses me right off. all my digital tunes are on CD's and my wallets are sorted via genre. im pretty anal about my music and how its sorted. everything has to be perfect

ive always hired my decks if ive played out. just charge the hire cost and then however you usually charge after. also helps to know people you hire from. build relationships etc... thats just another way you could look at things if you're worried about your gear

i dont think most people can avoid this. im sure someone out there has the same name as me also. just try make it big before the other one does

the wires inside it are fucked. id fix it myself but i duno how take it apart or whats what in there
