  3. Hey Guys, I have got 2x CDJ900's & DJM 350 Mixer for sale. CDJ's been used a handful of times never left the house and DJM350 has been used twice. CDJs loaded with the latest firmware are work flawless. recordbox is included. These are the best CDJ's i've ever used. Looking to sell as a package preferably. I am located in Melbourne (Geelong) and would prefer pick up of the gear. I have all the original packaging for the CDJ's and the Mixer. CDJ's were purchased from DJ Warehouse and the mixer from JB HIFI. Grab a bargain, looking for $2800 for the lot make an offer no stupid bids or i will just keep them. Also have a set of sennheiser headphones that i can throw in. My mobile is: 0437 486 426 for any questions or just pm me. I am in no rush to sell them, but looking to upgrade to CDJ 2000's and DJM 2000. Pics here: http://img198.imageshack.us/i/img0300b.jpg/ Cheers.

  5. Games not working on Windows 7 generally has nothing to do with DirectX. Its is simply a new operating system that is programmed differently and 95%+ of the games out there were NEVER developed to run in Windows 7. Hence why they have Windows XP compatablity mode. DirectX11 is fully backwards compatable. DirectX11 or any DirectX version for that matter is only any good if your video card supports it and if the game was made for it. Alot of the new games have the ablility to run in either DX10 or DX11 if it is supported.
  6. I would recommend buying the Tripple Channel DDR3 RAM kit simply for the performance increase. These i7 CPU's are made to run in tripple channel memory configurations for best performance and with only two memory sticks you certainly are getting the most out of it. The increase in performance you will get will defonatly be worth the cost especially with the 64bit OS.
  7. The SD/MMC/MS memory card slots are unfortunatly not PCMCIA slots. PCMCIA Slot are much larger and longer and are usually found on older laptops. To get Firewire onto your laptop maybe you could find some sort of USB to Firewire converter?? I have never really seen them around but its the only way i can think to get it to work???
  8. Are you happy with the 900's mate??? Worth the extra coin???
  9. I am currently facing exactly the same situation. I have asked alot of people what they would buy and they all have said get the 900's over the 1000's. The USB functionality of the 900's give it alot more possibilities in the future. Plus, your buying the latest generation of gear as the 900 is basically a 1000 but with ALOT more features. I think to if you can play well with a 900, a 2000 is quiet similar so transition to use a CDJ 2000 wouldn't be to difficult. The problem we are facing is that you can get a set of 2x 2nd hand CDJ 1000MK3's for around $2000-$2500 mark and because the CDJ900 is so new there is no second hand units yet so your looking more at around the $3800 mark for two new units. I do beleive the extra cost is worth it though because i've heard the price of CDJ1000 will be going down quiet abit once these 2000 & 900 CDJ's take off. From what i can see getting the 900's is a much better investment. Does anyone know if/when a new lower end CDJ will be released with USB and ability to use rekordbox that comes in under the 900????
