Hey mate had a listen, was good for a break from all the usual stuff! Well done. Didn't sit down and analyze it as such (Don't usually listen to this sorta music) but it was good upbeat to keep me going through the house chores ! Pieced together well. : )

Very solid! Few parts where out of sync, but i rekn in the middle of a floor you'd look around and not too many people would pick up on them! Enjoyed it a tonne. Now i have to look into some artists haven't heard too much of, some cracker tunes in there!

cheers for the comments Nikko! Good to see it's not making your ears bleed, will keep at it and keep posting for feedbacks!

Yeah. It'll seem something like this; Deck A in Channel 1 Deck B in Channel 2 Record out to Effects unit Line in Effects unit Line out to Channel 3. Limitations --------------- On the DJM 800 i can pick the send/return to only send/return one specific channel OR Master. Essentially meaning i can switch between which channel i want to effect/sample etc If you have both channels happening at once (Mixing) It will be based on the master sound (as it's going through the record out (what you're hearing on the speakers)) So you can still sample/effect on the fly - but if you want to do one song from Deck A, you can't have any overlapping sound from Deck B on the master channel, so as long Deck B is only CUE'd not playing you'll be fine If this still not making any sense i'll get some pics up of how it should look for you tonight.

Okay so i'm picking up a few things as i'm going. Still gotta get used to this whole when to drop tracks things but everyone keeps telling me it comes with practice, getting better with my beatmatching. Open to criticism, tips, tricks. Atm am fucking in love with echo + filter, it's definitely just to easy to play with all these knobs etc! Let me know what ya think. DJ BeatLeSS - Saturday Afternoon! by Laggerau

yeah it's almost impossible without having send/return, get creative with one deck only maybe? Or have record out and then into another channel for sampling/effecting one deck to the other?

ADJF voice-over thingie (im fully aware this makes no sense)

I'd say get a little bit of unity happening, when we hear the same thing happening people will be like "THIS IS SRS BUIZNESS!" -
Send/Return on the mixer. When activated will send all sound through to your effects unit, so Send(Line in on effects unit) Return(Line out on effects unit). Couldn't find any 6 1/3mm MONO to RCA cables though so just bought 6 1/3mm MONO adapters. Only downfall, can't use effects from the mixer except colour.

Monitors are next purchase. Doing some reno's so got some awesome ideas for my new room/area and the likes, will post pics up once they're done.

Woot woot, stantonts aren't there anymore Got the Koas pad back out, finally found adapters for the mono 6 1/3mm on the mixer, wanted just plain cables but had to settle with adaptors

Loved it Tomy! This screams as an intro song to me, make a great entrance! The things you could do with it live!

Definitely impressed with them... Here's the advantages i've found out so far. USB/LAN Media Management --> For those that take their laptop to gigs can actually with a set of 900's/2000's use rekord box to load tracks via a network hub to the decks! I also love the ability to export my playlists to usb, it creates a history as i play along the set, so i can go back and see in what order etc did i play, i can also set up the memory points for cue's, so although i didn't have it pre-done i know next time i've got a cue point there. Slip mode is wicked, great for that reverse, and in combination with the auto-loops, freaking good to know as long as i can count beats i'm not gonna stuff up too badly - or for the vinyl mode lovers same thing, scratch a quick 1-2beat and its back on track. Browsing tracks --> Not as intuitive as i'd hoped, then again i haven't really spent much time in the management of my tracks, am at the moment keying and creating playlists for each key, which should help me out a bit more and then i'll know where my tracks lie after some lengthy exposure to it. The downside i've found with the auto-loops is it won't keep the tempo, for some reason (and i think it's only playing from flash drive, haven't noticed it as much on CD) before it kicks back to the beginning of the loop it'll keep playing a frame or two, haven't had much time mucking around with loops as i'm still learning beatmixing, but thats what i've noticed --> Might record a quick sample for you's to listen to, maybe someone will know if i'm doing something wrong, or it really just has a delay reading back to the beginning of the loop.

All it's going to do is open up an opportunity for Aus to create a proper underground
