  1. Man thats so fkn gay, why are albums now a days not DJ friendly hahah. Sick advice, cheers eggssell.
  2. So just to Clarify, http://bigpondmusic.com/album/various-a ... h=14083004 would be mixed by someone? And i would have to individually track the songs down and pay $1.60 each, or get the entire release for cheaper, but have the beginning and ends overlapping?
  3. I always figured fidget was a cross between electro/dub. Had a really paced/chopped wobble with a constant kick. LOVE IT
  4. Sick idea there hearts, the way i see it theres never any harm knowing what the masses are listening to! And any music is good music. The way i see it, knowing the ministry can only be an advantage as if good enough can swing in a few pumping unknowns :D
  5. Not really dude, but cheers for the breakdown The question I was asking was are they all mixed, i.e intro over outro, with the split between tracks half way through the mix. At a glimpse anything that's a compilation should be safe unless it says 'mixed by X' just want to confirm before going and spending cash
  6. About to buy some ministry (Shame on me i know - but wouldn't mind keeping some commercial in my library) Have got my eyes on Running Trax at the moment (fairly cheap for a chunk of tunes), Are these mixed? Or Start to finish original/remixers version?
  7. House turn electro by BeatLeSS Hey guys, after some serious criticism, gonna start trying to get my name out there now - time to get out of the bedroom i think! Let me know if you think i'm ready!
  8. I'm down, will check em out over the weekend. Whens this comp close?
  9. Previewed... It's now in the cart, agreed. Fucking mad track.
  10. For all those out there who want the benefit of ableton + serato AT ONCE! http://serato.com/thebridge
  11. Nice setup dude. Lol @ mapped perfectly on paper.
  12. Lol, it's personal opinion, same thing with ford vs holden, cdj's vs vinyl. You might as well never fall in love there Dennis, in fear that the special someone will do something that will make you despise them.
  13. All you budding producers! Jump on it! http://www.beatportal.com/feed/item/d-n ... _campaign=
  14. I rekn it'd be better suited to a freestyle sort of act in my opinion. Live sampling/remixing/mashups on the fly - would be kick ass with two sets of hands and two musical minds with a whole tonne of buttons to push and knobs to turn!
  15. Yessir, it certainly will - You're talking for a laptop? Note if yours has an LED that'll be drawing power too.
  16. Okay, so the management part is okay, i've figured out a small system going by site i download from per month (RekordBox keeps genre info so theres no need for me to split into genres - and i can use Colour coding for their 'feel') My next question is this; Keeping up with the charts/top songs - How do you do it? It just seems i may be doing it the wrong way, but how are you keeping on top of the popular music i.e aria charts etc - Do you keep a list of everything you've got and reference with aria charts? How often do you do this? It seems as though if i'm gonna get anywhere here in this town i need to start learning what's in and whats not, so i've dedicated myself to following these charts for a bit to get a bit of insight into the masses, but there has to be an easier way to keep up-to-date and ontop of tunes. Another thing, do you guys grab all the diff remixes of a particular track?
  17. Wow dude, that's freaking awesome. Could definitely have a dance to that! Nice work dude, and yeah, what are you using to make that etc? How long have you been in production for to produce that?
  18. Haha sick table dude, thought of that kickass one someone posted ages back thats from the states worth like 3k. Nice job! Very snazzy, though personally would hate the angles those decks are on.
  19. BUMP!
  20. Not really that into Dub/deeper music at this point but can definitely appreciate what you've got going there Chev! Again, not too into production so can't really pick up where you need to make changes etc, seeming pretty good though!
  21. Get Techy! by BeatLeSS I'm in love with the techy sounds at the moment, you can really get two tracks pumping at once for extreme lengths! Main focus in this is my EQ'ing and beatmatching - I think i used an echo ONCE. Feedback muchly appreciated as always.
  22. 900s are worth the cash. Will definitely put a hand up for these bad boys.
  23. Good stuff man! Great to hear you going out and getting gigs too.$100 is a great start to have some fun !
  24. Just recently bought the ibiza pack, freaking awesome to start expanding genre's. They definitely got some good tunes so I don't think it'll be hard to spend over $10.
