Everytime i was out and went to say g'day/chill I asked him to play something decent, he'd shake his head, then i'd ask for something shit and he'd nod! One night he played Crookers - No Security hahah then pointed at me and said i made him do it!

I'd go big ups on the DVS, but CDJ's can't be at any disadvantage to learn either dude. I'm with armed, no CD's/Crates are a fkn major advantage, was at a small fest on the wkend and the DJ's had their cd's scattered EVERYWHERE lol. Nothing looks better then repping with a pimp sexy laptop, and product placement whaat get a tekskin with your DJ logo on it! Laughin.

It's the same with anything. Repetition Repetition Repetition. You don't get good at something overnight, the more time you pour into it the better you get. Also one thing i've noticed, goes for anything also, the moment you start going "Thats good enough" is the moment you stop progressing.

I find lyrics give something for the masses to focus on and relate with together. Even if you don't know them in the middle of a club noone is going to hear you shout them anyway, so mumble away! Gotta be right into your music (Like most of us are haha) to really enjoy the changes/phrasing of pure music - for average punters it's subconscious so they don't realise it's happening.

I just came in my pants at this idea. Going to apply that in practice.

Yeah, went to the opening night it was wicked, only thing i remember of it is subs - mitsubitchi getting played and i fkn lost the plot haha. Stadiums the only place to go for a good dance/musical night, nothing else matters in the end for a night out in my opinion, i spent 3hours practicing the reverse running man when it was quiet hahaha - getting good at it now!

Every club man, they all abuse the shit out of nightlife. This is a top40 town for sure.. I actually had an argument with one of the zodiac managers saying they need a night or two a month where they actually do a event style night (I.e more than ONE DJ for the 7+hours they are open - though this goes for every club here.). Basically got told if it's not top40 it's not wanted haha. Boycotted. The only reason it's so popular is because it takes 5people to make the dancefloor busy. Stadium (Now the Republik) Will always be my homeground for a good night out! Pickles does a great set there always, may have to wait til 1-2am to get the good music outta him but when he does i don't move off that floor .

Agreed on Skanks ideal of Nightlife. It gets abused here however.
