Solid State advantages = you can knock your pc about more than a platter drive. The speed differences i would find almost negligible except for seek time Raptor. Would still be bottlenecked by interface. If you want super speeds get a RAM drive, throw 4x4GB RAM chips on there and away you go.

Make sure you've got good airflow; Have one intake at front one exhaust at back; anything else will interrupt a proper airflow and can actually cause more damage to the computer. If you want to cool your hdds get hdd coolers that mount to the top of them. get a better heatsink check out www.pccasegear.com.au make sure you get socket of motherboard right.

My 900's would already come equipped to map with traktor i would imagine straight from usb, so it could be a major advantage for progressing as a DJ/getting into production. Will deffo give it some serious consideration over the next few days. That audio 8 can be used for anything other than traktor?

That seems like a deal too good to be true. I was looking into serato (the view of it seems to be more to my liking) But what are the advantages of something like this over my CDJ900's/RekordBox ?? Is it going to prove handier for me in the future.. the timecoded cd could be handy to play out on others gear etc but that seems to be about it?

Second buildup to drop feels like need a bit more warning to such a change. Loved the progression of second drop through to end, came out nicely.

Cupe to me forums are like shopping centres, you run around looking for everything you want but don't go into every store. DJ Headquarters is the main traffic area, so having a sticky there could be good - basically a shout out section to go HEY IF YOU DIDN'T SCROLL DOWN AND SEE MY NEW POST IN X SECTION HERES A LINK FOR YOU LAZY FKERS! May we keep a sticky in the DJ headquarters perhaps a "Chasing feedback" thread, where we can keep bumping/linking/annoying each other for more feedback, will keep OP's threads clean and also a unified source for finding out who is chasing feedback?

seconded. I always find myself searching for an artist in particular if something jogs my memory then i try find the track name.

Malware bytes is pretty powerful. Gets rid of most of those fake anti-virus ones. Hijack this is a good way to keep an eye on whats happening also. If i know i've got a virus though - backup + factory restore here. Aint nothing a good ole format can't fix!
