  1. Okay guys, after mixing with Gandy last weekend we've decided it'd be a farking schweet idea to throw up another challenge.. So a few drinks later i decided to grab the top 10 (Days rolled over and there were two surplus songs) So heres the rule; There are 12 songs, so everyone gets to VETO their two least favourite - this should mix things up a bit and allow everyone to find out why, i.e personal taste, this went better with that etc.. Anyone who is keen I'll pm the link to, or since i'm not around that often can everyone keep track and forward it on as well, cheers. Happy mixing!
  2. stage antics, you can write more on it, BPM, Key, Cue points (times) etc. But you look cooler ejecting and inserting discs all the time!
  3. click the share button on soundcloud track and copy and paste into here.

  7. Remember seeing some links for acapellas but can't remember where.. link to thread would be appreciated?
  8. We're DJ's, not housemaids
  9. Chillen at Gandy's brought all my gear down!
  10. Yeah i get that problem too CBG. Wouldn't be a bad idea. Other than that it's still a cool site. need a shoutbox or something we can do a quick shout out to peeps online. No real drama's with it on my end, though i'm not on here as much as i'd like to be Flat out following one single blog week to week at the moment (Laziness i know!)
  11. Yup, only things i don't have surge boards for are my kettle and toaster. T.V/Computer/Stereo/DJ Equipment all on belkin surge boards. Most of the time they won't stop a storm (i.e lightning strike) But at least i know they're covered if they break.
  12. Really good dude! Not a fan of RNB but that was good to listen to. Smooth transitions, it seems you have your track timing perfect, which will be a mega bonus once you get your beatmatching down pat. Made it a pretty good treat to listen to - definitely don't mind listening to a few diff genres! Repetition Repetition Repetition is the key! Keep at it man and keep posting them!
  13. Haha, i'm fkn there bro! Be sick as!
  14. They're just proof you can take the absolute piss outta the music industry and nail it, everytime. ohhh autotune, for the win!
  15. Hey man liked it! Great into song! Transition from track 2 -> 3 felt a little busy for me, had to stop and concentrate on what was happening. Beatmatching was good, didn't notice too many errors there. Keep at it and keep em comin! Was a good listen!
  16. Sick cheers hearts. And yeah let us know when you've got another mix up! Dub is becoming the new 'live band' feel to me. Great vocals i rate!
  17. Got a bbq happening and just followed on how good dubstep is from gandy's post about electrostep now more people wanna hear dub.. Anyone wanna link me to a great vocal dubstep mix?
  18. will deffo purchase this man once i jump on beatport next.
  19. almost neg repped you for that Gandy! haha. cheeky fukn texting me while eating with them.
  20. I think all you should have to do, right, is copy your install folders accross once the program is installed, should basically 'duplicate' exactly how your program was set up. From your back up to your external drive to look in the PC, kapiche?
  21. Hey mate not too bad for the first mix to post! Always love listening to a bit of harder stuff when doing some housework! Good listen. You're well on your way. Some tunes i would let play out, noticed vocals dropped a couple of times when bringing in an incoming track, let them play out, they are a great focus point sometimes can hide small beatmatching errors.
  22. Fucking Rockhampton being a disaster zone and flooded in, so wanted to see these guys @ Gladstone. Teenage dirthouse is one of my all time favourite fucking tracks.
  23. Felt like you were getting really creative there dude, top notch. Looking forward to more from you.
  24. Thats how mainstream anything works. Consume for a few years then move on to the next thing.. It's generational fools, as we get older our tastes move on. Younger crowds like different things and then that becomes the norm. How the fuck did you think computers/tech became some popular, it was new, the younger generations loved it, the older generation was like "Meh, it's new, we like what we're used to already". [/rant] Dubstep is huge, no doubt about it, and along it's way it's going to pick up some massive fans that will always enjoy it. Each to their own or GTFO basically. That being said, what is the next step in music? Lazy ten'er says glitch.
  25. getting so bored with electro these days, looking for a new edge! Really sets it apart when i hand someone a cd and they go "fuck, never heard anything like this"
