It's just a bitch getting a Mac onto a windows domain, and working, how the client wants it to work. Not to mention the real estate programs won't work no doubt. Harder to implement, harder to support.. Not worth it. That being said, all my colleagues here love their macs. Only reason i'd buy one is for music

But pretty much need to knwo what you've got originally, cos a migration is completely different to a new set up (Seeing how you have existing equipment). Things i would be asking; Is it a domain? How is your email done? I'm guessing the programs you use would be ADL/Realworks? Are all your workstations the professional/business editions of the O/S. Don't go down the MAC path, at 15users you're much better getting a SBS domain if you don't have already.

Xone 22 would be fine for timecode. Correct me if i'm wrong but Timecode works like this; CDJ -> Soundcard. Soundcard -> Mixer. So in essence you need two channels on the Soundcard to have one CDJ do TimeCode. CDJ goes to soundcard, which transmits the TimeCode signal to the laptop. Then the Laptop bounces the music from the soundcard to the mixer. That does mean however the soundcard you choose will need two inputs and two outputs. Sol: To answer your question i wouldn't imagine the soundcard would passthrough any signal without any power to it, though i could be wrong.

Depends on your airflow. Nightclubs rack all theirs, why do they not have troubles? Front inhilation to rear ventilation = prime. Cold air in the front and hot air out the back, brilliant flow = great.

that's not cheap man. it's no doubt 5years old. Can pick up new 19" screens for around $150.
