Hi guys, Basic idea I wanna start looking at is some sort of way to control all the ligthing, whether it be software to do this through DMX or whatever. Has anyone had any experience in doing this? More and more I just see people with light stands and cheap lighting, but I can't help but think lighting plays a way more integral part than just 15thousand colours being spammed with sound activation. Being able to black out strobes/lights, have them turn on with a button would be sick as.

I hit out a rough copy last night. Man those songs are weird and hard to fit together.. I'll try and start out slow and get the energy flowing progressively through my mix, will nut it out again on weekend if i've got time.

Dont get me wrong i love my hardstyle, but always wanted to DJ elektro n house. WBU? Love a bit of everything eh, my mood swings all the time when i'm DJ'ing though haha can never get into one genre for more than 40minutes. Always try mixing it up. Breaks is awesome, so many re-rubs out there!

Beatport should have a history of what you've bought before and simply just re-downloadable. On my account i can see all the songs i've previously purchased, and am able to re-download them if i need to.

Have you thought of a data recovery service? http://www.data-recovery.com.au was just one i found. You pay a fair bit but these types of businesses/services have full forensic equipment. Might be worth contacting a few for a quote.

all code comes from somwhere doesn't it? The unis have pretty good anti-plagurising software though.. It really only compares to all the work thats been handed in there.

Won't be disappointed with the XD-53's bud trust me. Fucking crazy cool headphones, had HDJ1000's and for the same price they are better specced. . Haven't looked back on these.

Holy fucking shit $50 a ticket and 500 sold, thats $25,000. You better be making a few k outta that, this is bigger than a local event! Why doesn't he get the proper licensing if it's the dude with the aircraft hanger. So long as it's not-for-profit i'm pretty sure you can charge people, but you will need at the very least public liability insurance, no doubt someones gonna get hurt and wanna sue. I DJ'ed an openhouse party 30k outta town once, 300 people was the max if you register the party with them, everyone needed wristbands. Hit max people by 7:30pm. Was crazy.

Beach party was postponed a week but was fucking off the chain! First underground thing i've been to, completely off the radar, got directions at 3pm that arve and had to trek through scrub for 10minutes to get to the destination after parking car. Was INSANE! We were sitting there at like 9:30 with about 10-15ppl, thinking to ourselves "yup, this is gonna be all the crowd we get, fucking losers dont wanna travel for an awesome party" Blinked at 10:30 and there was about 80-100ppl there. Was great fun! Trek back to car & drive home at 5am wasn't good though hahaha. I'll get some pics & video uploaded soon.

I could only assume it be similar to the "Read Only" version on windows? Can you view properties of a file and uncheck it perhaps?
