Hey guys, saw a lot of chatter in OT about internet speeds thought I'd bring this up in DJ Headquarters to see what us DJ's think of this. First of all, a side-by-side comparison of the two NBN plans to happen; http://howfastisthenbn.com.au/ Second of all, I'd like to know what you think faster internet speeds is going to hold for you as a DJ. For me, moving forward with our internet could mean massive collaborations with artists around the globe happening in realtime.

Dope, cheers! Yeah haha I work in I.T but would have imagined there was an option for both of le screens to have separate backgrounds somewhere, not that you'd have to re-do & combine the image to custom resolutions - this is a hack, not I.T.

Is this a DAC/act like a DAC? If so I'll definitely pick one up. Have been looking into DAC's for a while.

Rookie Question: How does one get two separate backgrounds on their dual screens? LOL.

I'm not sure if this has all changed again since I left retail. But people need to get a good grasp of Statutory vs Voluntary warranties.

What as in big commercial artists have fake followers and normal dont? The big commercial acts still need organic fans to become popular lets not forget. Yeah but creating the popularity leads to it becoming true. Another example of Fake it til you Make it at play here.

Hence the question. Mitch, what do you do bud, you mention that you use while DJ'ing as well - is this while on the decks or just before/after. How do you find talking to someone while wearing these? Haha, I know I'd look like a total tool in my local club with these but if they save my ears then I'm all for it! (not to mention the trash that gets red lined here lol)

Alcohol is the only thing that makes life bearable.. So drink! Always drink! For those that do use earplugs however - how do they get used, are you taking them out between transitions, then putting them back in or do you just blast your headphones louder so you can hear them over the ear buds? Also, what earbuds are you guys using for this? Some recommendations and a little of your own personal experience would be handy!

Learn to dose. Simple. Don't trust anyone and do the research yourself, it can never hurt to be too paranoid when it comes to this shit. Everything is fun in moderation. Silly humans with their tendencies to over-do things. That being said - never tried it - would be keen to give it a go
