Dude you know what i'd really love to see. Workflow, guide around the program and how you use it to keep everything. The whole Sampling process What you're looking for when going for samples, how you grab them, store them, and use them. Maybe record yourself doing a whole track then re-watch the video cutting it down to the key parts and explaining the process? I'd be all for watching ADJF tutes over anything else on the net.

Fucking LOL at this review.. http://headphones.reviewed.com/content/ ... 125-review So I'm sold on the sennheisers. Though the Shures are around $100 mark at headphones.com.au eggs but I do like the sound of replaceable cables. No doubt gonna get minced up during every day use.

What is the best software for quickly converting FLAC to mp3
BeatLeSS replied to Cupe's topic in DJ Headquarters
AVS converter. Does Batches, very handy tool have been using it since cleaning up music collection, etc. -
i think it's more the force feeling to follow them. i support the artists i want to support but when i have to go through all these different sites and follow 5 people before downloading a track from 1 person it becomes a bit stupid. recently, i was redirected to toneden and before downloading the track there were 4 different pages i needed to follow on soundcloud before the link became active. i don't know those other 3 pages and after investigation they were just blogs. some people are cool with that but my soundcloud is flooded with spam as it is. people have been reposting the same track for about 6 weeks and i see it 6 or 7 times on my feed Wouldn't that then be enough personal reasoning to not follow the artist, as it doesn't agree with your own values? I don't follow certain artists music that I've met because they're fucking douche bags in real life. Vice versa, I don't follow certain artists music that I get along with really well IRL because I'm just not a fan of their tunes. If you don't agree with how you obtain the music, wouldn't that be enough grounds to not want to play their music? I'd even go as far as saying if you messaged them saying "Hey I really love your tracks, but have no interest whatsoever in jumping through all these hoops on sites I don't use to be able to play them, rekon you can hook me up with a copy?" you'd get a download link. Hell, you'll probably find the artist didn't want it that way and spark up a really good convo about the industry with them. Of course, if they came back with no, then I'd put them on the "do not support" list. We're in a digital world, but nothing beats the personal approach.

I'll wager that if you message them on the source platform (if you heard it on Soundcloud, then message them on Soundcloud, etc.) explaining you don't use facebook and would love to be able to spin that tune, they'd be more than happy to send the track to you You've just reminded me I need to message a few artists about obtaining wav's.
-
whoa, blatantly ripped off. Can appreciate it if they wanted to recreate something similar, and did so through their own unique way rather than sampling it. But if there's no credit to it then it really is just a rip off.

If you like the artist enough to want to download and play a free track, liking their page would mean you can stay up to date on their music, no? I have no problem liking a page for a track I'm receiving for free, as it means I can then be connected to more goodies coming from them. I'm not a fan of Facebook, but that's for other reasons than Music. An alternative would be to message the artist through Soundcloud or wherever you heard the track and ask for a download as you do not use Facebook. I'm sure they'll be happy to oblige! Edit: can this be moved to DJ Headquarters? Doesn't seem to be an off-topic convo.

When you start playing on huge rigs quality is a must. I won't download anything but lossless anymore (WAV/FLAC preferred). Gets expensive from beatport as each track has a 0.75c surchage the bastards! Glad you found addictech of service man

Welcome dude! Depending on your style of music, Juno Download and Addictech.com are another two sites I use.

chuck it all in your hold bin bro. Ask Oxykon how big his is haha.
