  1. You had me at Free Download.
  2. Lavander, or BACON
  3. Yeah but does it open or is it a prison like most dorms. Uni students have a tendency to jump out of windows don't you know.
  4. Holy faken jeezus epic little room there bro! That's living the minimal way. I hope you have a window for fresh air, you'd rack up some pretty bad stenches on a full weekend studio sesh.
  5. Yeahhh booyyyy! Pending stepping it up! Fucking well done mate.
  6. you wait. best producer 2015 will be AlexJ Dude the discussions with you re: production at the meat blew my mind. Will not be surprised if this is you. But I'm gonna give you a damned good run for your money.
  7. Yeah, the multi-core cables aren't anything special. They're just purpose built. Anditz could probably wire you up something snazzy if you were worried about aesthetics. Otherwise you just need for each turny: 2x F RCA to 4x M RCA (Female plugs for the Turntable output, male plugs for the soundcard input and mixer input) and 2x M RCA to 2x M RCA (soundcard output to mixer input) However it looks, cables, cables and adapters, etc. is up to you.
  8. Here's a great link to it. Essentially all the multi-cores are doing is doubling up the audio signal. So Deck A Technics -> 2xRCA (Sound Card) 2xRCA (Phono Line/Mixer) Sound Card -> 2xRCA (Line In/Mixer) Deck B Technics -> 2xRCA (Sound Card) 2xRCA (Phono Line/Mixer) Sound Card -> 2xRCA (Line In/Mixer) The audio signal is still being passed to the SoundCard, but the line select on the mixer will determine which output it's listening to - whether this is the cable coming from the technics to mixer or soundcard to mixer.
  9. Should just be able to have the cable split or dual output. so 4x RCA (2 x 2RCA) So then you plug one set into the sound card, one into the mixer and do the switching part. That way when you put a record on the TT's as opposed to control vinyl you switch the mixer input over and it'll take the audio from that as opposed to your sound card. Looking at those multi-core cables, that's exactly what they are.
  10. Damn, I haven't even thought about playing around with ECHO's at that low ms, have always used in time with the DJM beat select.
  11. I've just downloaded Winamp again after a conversation with Cupe. The biggest reason for me doing this is to gain search and queue list functionality again. Hitting J to search/jump to a file and queue'ing it next is a huge thing VLC lacks.
  12. Gonna have to amp up my voting campaign this year.
  13. Yeehaaa! Hey all the way over there in Spain! There's always plenty of beginners lurking around the forums here man so be sure to post your videos up in the beginners section! Would love to check em out as I have a friend starting to get into it.
  14. holy fak epic post dude! I'm so sick of seeing the same track appear over and over again.. OR THE TRACK FROM FOUR MONTHS AGO UP THE TOP BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE FKN REPOSTED IT (this really pisses me off, cos you think it's current only to realise "Hang on a second, I'm sure I've heard this before")
  15. Fak, if happy hour is cheap for ROK to SYD i'm booking.
  16. FUARK EVERYONE GET YOUR COLLECTION OF THESE BUTTER KNIVES TO THE MEAT.
  17. I'm down, pending still having a job. Otherwise I'm super mega jewmon. Actually, if I have no job I could road trip it.
  18. Holy shit, I legit have these knives. Might have to bring em since I'll be road tripping up!
  19. That looks purty as!
