yeah my old man is a chippy by trade. I was gonna get him to knock up something similar to the expedit but deeper. but now Im thinking I just add something onto the back of an expedit. just because its cheaper and the finish on the expedit in pretty slick.

I must admit, I'm a bit of a sit-down dj. works a treat if youre scratching on a low setup

haha. this is true. but someone should really get on this. you could probably sell the records/case for a 100 and be left with a verrrrry cheap setup maybe i need a spare....

You have way too much money im not going to apologise for setting myself up over the past 5 years to be able to live comfortably, nor should you have a dig at other ppl for being excited about getting there very first setup (which i happen to be extremely stoked about), it was literally like all my christmas's came at once Easy hard on, was just playin hook us up with said get-rich-quick scheme

yeah I considered faceplates. but they dont look nearly as good as a professional paint job. I'd be looking to get some 1210 MK5s. how do they compare to 1200MK2s?

I want an all black setup. I can possibly purchase some 1210s or.... have the 1200s professionally painted. But it almost feels like an injustice to the 1200s because theyre in such good condition (no scratches/marks) opinions?

it sounds wack. but i think they did the right thing by keeping the festival going. everyones been at concerts/events where the dj has fcuked up or the equipment has blown, and seen how the crowd generally reacts. i think by stopping the event they would have just added to the overcrowding and hecticness of the whole situation. terrible thing to happen anyhow

yeah. i reckon thats the way ill go. i think my explanation made no sense im really looking for those tracks with that more modern? kind of sound, which a constant beat. appreciate any suggestions, even if its just single tracks. ON A SIDE NOTE: need to invest in some actual vinyl (strictly serato atm) what records can people suggest I should have/need in my collection. specifically looking into buying a few doubles to hone my juggling skills. cheers

I've pretty much been spinning the same record for months now "STD Breaks + The God's Son In Law Vol. II" and I need some more tracks but in this style. I cant really describe it with my limited musical knowledge. but tracks which are more beat driven? electronic? like the tracks qbert uses in his tutorials. If anyone can help me out with suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
