  1. damn someone use a bbq for a dj table
  2. yeah when you buy from overseas its better to not say it cost $X for item and $Y for shipping, because you feel shitty that sometimes a third of the price is shipping. i just look at the tote ill have to pay and say, am i willing to pay that much. like the last sneaks i bought, 1/3rd was shipping, but even after that it was only $4 more than what you'd pay in footlocker for jordans except they werent releasing down under. well not then, eventually kickz101 in melb got it but they pricey as
  3. huh? read OP mann basically use whatever device (be it mobile or PC) and hit shuffle on your whole collection. so not an album, or not a playlist, but the whole shabang. and then post it up. it was kinda to get a feel for all the types of music peeps are listening to. oh and only on fridays!
  4. kid cudi ft wale (and thats wah-lay not whale ) - is there any love an emile produced track from the legendary a kid named cudi mixtape. very basic sample beat as is emile's style using a hook from an old 70's track. cudi straight rapping the 1st & the 3rd with wale bringing the energy for the 2nd 16. nice track
  5. i have an original press milli vanilli blame it on the rain 12 inch. mint
  6. yeah that particular book isnt that much cheaper, but most books usually end up with some good savings. basically its just sources from different websites including delivery. 90% of the time book depository is the cheapest. 1% of the time amazon is cheapest (usually books published only for america and small distribution house). and 0% of the time an australian retail shop is cheaper. ive been using for about 2 or 3 years now. ive seen the savings slowly get smaller as i think amazon and borders caught on that book depository was stealing all their business. in that time maybe once ive had to buy from amazon (common's biography just a couple months back)
  7. forget amazon! go booko first. i know that the savings is only $4 on this particular book. but its about 13%! you buy enuff books it adds up! but even more so on some books ive bought ive saved 30+% http://booko.com.au/products/9780240815800
  8. damn! that sucks balls bro. yeah i fear the post. thats why ive paid a third of a cost of something just to have it couriered, just to avoid any worry. which i know kinda kills it when you get a deal, but at least you know its coming and it usually comes quick!
  9. not sure if they much of a backup (as per source not exactly the easiest to take around). but i def think you should try em out though, you may find you like it and switch to using them! or you may continue to use cdj's on gigs and end up having them at home when you want to get some wigga wigga on. you never know if you never never go. and hopefully it will make you stop posting "for a club you should use cdj's, clubs dont use turntables"
  10. mann every act and their dogg has announced their sideshow but no frank ocean

    TOTD?

    Time to bounce...
  13. yeah nice one jonny. is the vocal bass bonz is referring to that croaky sound? yeah i like that too.
  14. have all your music on a hard drive then never have to move. and then a tip i got from skank and pulsebeat, only move the tracks you need to the laptop on the night of the gig (analysing before you get to the gig!!). still bring the hard drive with you in case there is that one or five tracks you didnt copy over that you might need.
  15. hey... saturday! i wish it was saturday night 7 nights a week
  16. more newish hip hop the herd - a thousand lives from future shade
  17. oh yeah been posting to post this for a minute.awesome song and nice clip from the skip hop OG's Def Wish Cast. its avail on beatport now go get it
  18. what about when ice t was anti cops as opposed to playing a cop. (yeah i know not hip hop but its the OG himself Ice T)
  19. and hip hop for getting g'd up and ready to just slam dance, cant go past onyx. i love fredro starr!
  20. that previous clip always reminds me of dmx - ruff ryders anthem. while i wasnt a bigg dmx fan there was no doubt this got a club g'd up. stomping the floor and shit. and pushing each other around
  21. hip hop needs to bring more bounce back! cash money billionaires on top with mannie fresh on beats. and a teenage lil wayne ghost writing for most of the label. the four lines he gets in the last 16 are probably the best of the track. i love this track, almost 14 years on and can still make me wanna dance
  22. one of the best posse cuts ever
