what an absolute farken great show!! it was cool def wish came on in three different sessions. doing their early stuff; then their in between stuff; then finally the new album (see below). in between sessions dj's would play (including a video dj sesh); and one of the inbetweens was the members in their side projects ceslius and kilawatz. def wish had everyone rocking to every word. definately turnt up! dj murda killing it on the decks. and for the new album the crew have added thomas rock on keys and a voice box. speaking of the new album Evolution Machine, it is just brilliant. if you remotely like aus hip hop go get this album! there were several producers which allows for so much variety. as i said above the holmie i rolled with knows everyone from the old west syd graff days, and also knew mc def wish, so got to say gday and give props at the end. definately a memorable night!!! but just as it was going so good, i left my newly bought def wish cast tshirt and slipmat on the bus oh well i have the photos.... oh shit all the photos look like shit oh well i have the memories \:D/

^ as per andyman. last twelve months we've grown heaps. a lot of our newbies have come here after buying their equip. occassionally we get the person moving from controller to cdj/ turnie & mixer (or vice versa). its there where our biggest second hand market is. so good price just not right time.

i use both ears only to maybe fine tune the beatmatching but take the other off when in the mix as i dont have split channels on my mixers headphone output so want a clean sound of what im brining in

bigg ups to another awesome live show! came in on the tailend of horrorshows set. crowd was turnt up. next was atmosphere's rhymesayers labelmate, evidence. the OG's will know him from dilated peoples. he was so soulful and full of energy. i enjoyed him live more than when ive listened to his music. atmosphere's producer/ dj ant was cruising around the back during evidence's set so i gave him props and shook his hand. not many people realised who he was. then onto atmosphere. there was ant on decks, then the legendary lyricist slug, and pretty sure the keyboard player and guitarist were the fellas who did the last album, being eric and nate. nate was on point with lots of harmonics and feedback tricks. as always i love hip hop with a band and atmosphere are one of the best. no real highlights because every single track was a highlight. slug raps with so much emotion and feeling. you just hang on every single word. place was buzzing. loving the energy in hip hop right now, bring on def wish!!!! (album release this friday, and for syd people launch is friday week)
