i dont know if that is a true statement knockoff yes. basically when the rights ran out for the use of the magnetic drive companies copied it but would not agree with lower quality. spec wise (torque and features etc.) most of them out do the techies. and if anyone has ever played with the stanton 150s with the newer logos, they are tanks. so hard to say lower quality of course whether higher torque (at least past a certain level) or fandango features are of any relevance is argueable

any of the super oem's go alright. ive got the Stanton 150's and they go alright. vestax is qberts choice of brand so prob cant go wrong either with those. especially if coin isn't a worry. you can still get new or close to new techs from japan, but yeh prepare to bend over and bring your own lube

haha how things change. this is one of my fave tracks of all time. anyways was listening to this today and noticed the level meters on my old ghetto blaster was all maxed (it allows to show battery remaining or levels) and i was like what the hell. so kept flicking it on and and off. but still maxed. turns out it was just how the song was after like 20 seconds. rewind selectah (just listened to it again for the third time as keep getting interrupted at work. leave me alone people! :lol )

agree w/ all you need to check them out also think about what you need. ive used both, and because i use it only as a crate then none of the features made any difference to my decision. so i bought the cheaper one so yeh other than horizontal versus vertical waveforms i found no difference using either of them.

hmm couldn't find any full rat cat albums but this a good mix of pre-becoming famous tracks, their breakout ep tingles, and then their first commercial album blind love. all awesome tracks. would've been good to have I think we're alone now and car crash.
