  3. yeh ive come to realise that. I just came across it thought it was cheap almost made a rash decision but glad I didn't get it. ive already got the mpc which suits my needs. and Ill prob just add some old school synth when I come across a bargain, so that I can build ontop of samples

  8. well im not really thinking for live playing just music production. i only ever got up to like tutorial 18 which was chopping samples and assigning to pads. so got a loooong way to go. but yeh got word of one for sale but it will be more like around $300, and i had no idea what they were worth. cool thanks for getting at me.
  9. heyup anyone know the going price. not that i need it considering the MPC gathering dust. but would make a nice combo. wazza? what would you think or tomy, i know you have a treasure trove of old synths

  16. umm... he still is. ummm didnt say he wasnt i just said he was a major part of the start of the scene
  17. i almost passed up going in then i read the below on the wall and laffed my ass off. and thought why the fuck not
  18. as what seems to be the norm now for me when im out of town... i was cruising around the trendy town of monti in rome (was actually there for a sneakershop but it was closed) and i came across a record store. so dug a bit in the cheapies section. got some great coldcut tracks. an old hip hop classic from 86 and this sampler from kevin saundersons label. he was massive in the OG house scene from detroit. grabbed it for big fun. as a lot of us oldies have mentioned back in the late eighties early 90s, techno, house, acid was mainstream music. and this was one track that was big in the scene (not that i was old enuff to club) and big on the charts
  19. given the higher torque i doubt they will feel like 1200s. probably more like all the other super OEM turntables
  20. damn thats nice! And its good they opened it up as opposed to trying to force their proprietory dvs on you (for the life of me i cant remember what it was called but that german dmc guy uses it. Zeike i think his name was) Anyway having used reloop mixers for a minute now i can vouch for their quality in machines.
  21. yeh the world is too sensitive. we should all be racist, sexist and homophobic. its funny as hell!
  22. first clip is out. freaking awesome song!!! nice and funky. was thinking it had a bit of a neptunes feel to it, not surprising given the odd future love to that scene, and lo andnbehold chad hugo shows up at the end of the clip. cant wait! Loving the full band sound

  24. haha no idea how but i just came across this quote from daft punk. so obviously they are influenced by warren g and maybe subconciously used it. this is from a 1997 interview with Bangalter talking about the Da Funk single http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Da_Funk
