arrrr welcome mate good to hear small school house parties still going. when we was young we would go out and hire dj eqip (turnies, speakers, lights, smoke machines) and have parties in garages. pretty much every weekend it was someones bday. and everyone who wanted to would get up and have a go. I used to cart my crate of records around on skateboards from when I was about 13 to 16. as we got older things got a little more organised and some people started owning their own these dj toys sorry I mean cdjs and we would rent houses in the blue mountains or out in the sticks. take all the furniture out and have full dance parties. I can still remember one that had a high energy room, a chill trance room, and a stoner grunge room.

is there other methods to stream? I achally thought the decision was already made to move on as use versus costs wasn't worth it. especially if streaming can be had in other ways. I don't listen enuff or have never dj'd on it, so if you would rather not wear the cost I probably would not be too effected. on the other hand I love the idea of the radio and wished I could have used it more

hmmmmm. imo for something to be better than the other would have to be dependent on its use not just pure specs. for my style of mixing I find neither the techies or stantons better or worse, they are just different. if I was a scratcher, I agree with above that there are advantages in the vestax made machines (in particular torque for scratching, and I believe the needle slide)

hi mate. It has been done before. from memory it had atrak and/or qbert and/or the entire allies. the basics came on one of my dvds. either the scratch documentary or atraks sunglasses is a must. ill have a squizz if i have the time.
