i honestly wouldnt pay more than half for anything thats not fresh from a store. I may consider 60-70%!but its got to be so pristine i could eat my lunch off it. and be in box with all plastics and shit. outside of that i personally wouldnt consider it. i just sold an mpd, still in box with all the stuff in it, used three or five times tops for less than 30% what i bought it for

just remember not all usb ports operate the same. things may have moved on from usb 3, but w usb 2 there were some particulars, where especially if you had usb 1 items on the board (like a lot of controllers) it in turn toned down all the ports speed. so the best ones needed to be where every port operated on their own. that is a very laymans explanation. djtt had a good article on it. im sure it was linked here but ill try to dig it out for you. i ended up getting the belkin one they recommended Edit: the term was multi tt usb hubs. (feel free to bump in a couple of days to get more bites). but your point 2 is good advice! you dont need effects to learn how to mix. get that down pat. then add effects to tracks for spice. then learn to use effects as a transition tool. i myself still never really got onto step 3. except maybe echo out outgoing track because train wrecking bad

Then another time it was for all parliament, funkadelic and james brown. i ended finding some miami bass 12", and then dude had real old school 1980-1985 hip hop. Even some "disco rap" as he had it labeled. somehow managed to spend heaps. Ill take a photo of the jewel of the crown later. my kit is all pseudo packed though for my move. May pull one turntable out tomorrow to have a listen.

wow this brings back memories. back in the day i used to have an angelfire site which i would upload my photos while i was living/ working overseas (obviously pre feces book). and you did it all on html. and if you ever found a site doing things you liked, you viewed source and copied. but back then it was mainly stealing animations on your site
