mr chris both were very commercially succesful. and you couldnt get any more commercial than puffy's bad boy records. i.e sample a classic, get some grrl to sing a catchy hook, add clever rap. i dont think selling well should represent selling out though. yeah pac got all caught up in his own struggle to fight everyone (just like bishop did in juice). and in terms of the new school, again jus because they finally back in the charts doesnt mean they suck. i rection cudi, wale, donnis, the cool kids, kid sister all have plenty to offer the genre and they sell well.

west syyy-iddd fer shizure. pac all the way. peeps be hating on pac cuz all theyve seen was the weed head hate rantings, which dont get me wrong were pac. but if you look at anything before death row he absolutley kills it. especially the shock g produced stuff. not that there was anything wrong with all eyes on me, it was a good hip hop w/ some commercial stuff thrown in but he hada lot more to him than that. biggie was a clever rhymer which is why a lot of ppl rate him over pac, but pac was an intelligent rhyming workaholic. who would lay tracks down a million times which would allow him to refine his lyrics and also lay them over to have that posse effect but it was all him. and the coup de gras speaking of posses. listen to a biggie w/ junior mafia song; then listen to a tupac w/ outlawz (or even better when they were dramacydal) and hands down there is no arguement that the east coast crew sounds weak, poppy and lame. as good as biggie was, his beats from puffy never did him justice. wile pac had the likes of johnny j, shock g, dre and daz dillinger lacing him with the beats.

oh man the google link at the bottom was for a place trade tangs selling the monster beats tour (which are the in ear canal ones i said i wanted for my phone). clicked it (to feed cupe) and if you buy 10 they selling for $14-20 US each ???????????????????????????? wtf . i could buy that sell 'em for $100AUD, keep one for my self and end up with over $500 profit. then flip that to buy some more and sell those and so on... damn i think im gonna quit my job tomorrow EDIT: okay here is the link but i will hunt anyone who sells on my turf :axe:

hey dennis. for the record AFACT lost i.e iinet was found to have done nothing wrong and breached no copyright. in fact AFACT was cautioned for trying to deceive the court. in regards to using the music for playing out yeah it would be a grey area and im sure if they wanted they'd pull out the most vaguest of laws to get you. on the other hand there is absolutely no way they could get you for illegal downlaods, as you would have received it from the owners of the copyright i.e. the record label??

i dont use the cross fader either except when i fugg about with scratching. i strictly use line faders. ive got the reloop iq2 which has these auto cross fader effects which i dont use.
